The Future of Destiny

***possible spoilers for anyone not played through the campaign yet***** So a few days before Destiny was released I read something about already having plans for "Destiny 2"... To say the least I was immediately annoyed, especially after Bungie's "10 year plan" for destiny was one of the things that drew me to the game in the first place; now I hear that these 10 years may include sequels, not all the same "constantly evolving" game I thought that meant.... Then I played Destiny. Wow, I loved it, all 16 levels of the game it took for me to finish the story(and obviously beyond this too). When I
"killed a god" in the black garden mission
I was excited to see which planet in the solar system I would be going to next.....Mercury.... Jupiter.... one of Saturn's moons? Nope, that's it, that's all you get, story wise anyway for now. I have the expansions to look forward to, and they better be substantial, and at least include another planet to visit. In fact if we don't visit all the planets in our solar system by the time Destiny has done with us, I'll be extremely disappointed, and I don't think I'll be the only one. I honestly think this would be a great way to go for Bungie, add on packs including a new piece of the story puzzle, on another planet, with new enemies, who prior to the release of the DLC start randomly appearing making trouble on current locations whilst on patrol..... I think people would be happy to pay for DLC like that. Especially if there was other "free" add ons like crucible maps, and maybe the odd new location on current planets, even just to patrol for a change. Basically keep providing exciting new stuff and occasionally charge us for a new planet.... It also made me wonder if maybe the game isn't as big as we all hoped it'd be because it's also on "last gen" consoles too, could they have handled the game if its size was increased? On a final note, I really do like the game, especially when playing co-op with friends, there's nothing like taking down a big boss together, (for currently nothing much in the way a reward) and by the sounds of it Bungie plans to make that more rewarding soon too! So keep making changes in the right direction. In the mean time Guardians, I'll more than likely bump into you somewhere in our little corner of the Galaxy, it's a small world after all....
