I think a wave survival matchmaking with up to 6 players could soften the otherwise stale piece of bread that is Destiny matchmaking. This mode succeeded in ODST and Reach as well as other games and could be a more interesting way to earn engrams and fight bosses outside of a strike mission which only allows you to play with 2 friends.
*Edit*
Horde mode=Surviving as long as possible. No end, No win, enemies and rewards scale as rounds progress.
EXAMPLE OF FALLEN SURVIVAL
WAVE 1
Dregs and Vandals
WAVE 2
Dregs and Vandals and Shanks
Wave 3
Dregs and Vandals and invisible Vandals
Wave 4
Dregs, shanks, vandals and captain
Wave 5
5 ultra captains and shielded shanks
Intermission (reward loot tier 1)
Wave 6
Captains and sniper vandals
Wave 7
All assasination vandals
Wave 8
Sniper and assassination vandals
Wave 9
Ultra vandals and 8 ultra captains
Wave 10
2-3 Devil walkers and shielded shanks
Intermission (reward loot tier 2 increased chance of ascendent or legendary)
Wave 11
Repeat over again but increasing diffiulculty modifier and enemy count as well as reward loot tier.
So the question i ask is,
Yay?
Or
Nay?
