Weekly Heroic Strike not matchmaking
Like it says in the title. I've launched the weekly several times in order to take whack at it and I just get dumped solo onto a map with low lvls mostly. This is not ok. If you folks at Bungie insist on sticking to your guns on the lack of player control of matchmaking, then you need to make sure that your automated matchmaking is far more reliable than it is currently.

I know this topic has been talked to death, but Bungie, I submit the following: Your target audience...the adults with the money to buy expansion packs, don't typically have long stretches of time to devote to raids or standing around hoping to find a strike team to join up to get things done. I love ROC strikes because if I have 30 minutes to play (when I'm not at baseball practice, or cooking dinner, or being a good husband) I can hop on a strike and be playing in five minutes. The problem is that the game is developing into something that ONLY those who can devote long stretches of time to, can be successful at. Sure, I can play ROC strikes, do my daily public event and the occasional daily heroic, and maybe Xur will throw a decent exotic weapon out there that I can buy with all my strange coins that will get me "close" to what the Raid guys are throwing around, but the reality is, the GOOD stuff only comes to those who can play a LOT. You need to do matchmaking for the daily and weekly strikes. But put parameters around it...say, if you're LVL 30 or above, you'll only be paired with other LVL 30s +. Or, give people an option to choose their team's level threshold. There are ways to do it that would make everyone happy. And while we're at it, stop teasing us with exotic bounties and then forcing people to play crucible to get them. Whatever...make me kill 1,000 hive with it. That's fine. I'm good at that. I enjoy that. I hate crucible; I'm not good at crucible and any exotic bounty requiring me to play crucible, gets thrown in my Vault. There...off my soapbox. BTW - Love the game!

1 ReplyCant agree more - i stopped playing Destiny until a MM comes out for Weekly and Nightfall - its just annoying if you dont have friends that play the game or have to search around in stupid forums everytime you want to play

agreed, the non-existent LFG functions in an online-only "social" game is just mind boggling, I can't believe we are past the first DLC and they still haven't figured it out

Buy armor with vangaurd and crucible marks dismantle it for shards. BOOM. Shards. It's an rpg it requires a lot of time and dedication. Go play cod. Go on.

My biggest issue that could be fixed by treating like the rest of the strikes. Weekly heroic and nightfall...need...matchmaking...

2 RepliesYou people are complaining about nothing. The weekly is the beginning of end content you guys are complaining about one of the few good things in this game. The weekly and raid do not need match making its made to be hard it all givea you end game gear. Go on the fourms and find people thata what this game intended. Bungie did a great job with there community system. If you put matchmaking in for weekly and raid you wouldnt have any reason to play the game. I play with six people I dont know personally because I found them on the fourms we raid and do weekly every week. All it take is a few mins on the fourms. You will find people everyone is looking for someone to do weekly and raid just add them to your friends list so next week your not on here bitching about how "bad" or "terrible" bungie is for not putting in matchmaking. You all who are complaining are just the lazy people of Destiny and I hope do quit the game. Make a little effort not that hard.

I agree completely, matchmaking for weekly heroic, daily heroic, and nightfall is a must! Fix this shit bungie!

Have to agree on this. You can't realistically solo a lvl 22+ strike in week one...need to fix this for next week

For some reason Bungie doesn't want you to play endgame content unless you have a group. Come on Bungie! No matchmaking for raids is one thing, but also restricting the weekly strike as well? You already have a matchmaking system in place for normal strikes, why the change for weekly?

1 ReplyYou all want matchmaking ? You all want afk players who sit in the starting zone and shoot some fallen/hive/Kabal/Vex so they don't get kicked ? Because that's what you get. And you will likely have to start matchmaking several times untill you get 3 active players because that's how this community is just look at the tiger strike matchmaking 7/10 strikes there is sitting someone afk somewhere . Seen some people that will run with you but will stand a room before the boss or event so they don't have to work ... Honestly I don't want matchmaking I met enough people whom I did the raid and Nightfall with so no thanks
