Throwing a hail mary pass to Bungie Customer Service

Since there's no way to hit up CS other than here or Twitter that I have found (and Twitter is a bane of the internet IMO), I wanted to see if there was any way Bungie could aid a co-worker and myself regarding a now cancelled pre-order. Fry's Electronics recently emailed me to let me know that my pre-order (one for myself and one for my coworker) for the PS4 Ghost Edition would not be able to be filled after "...working with the publisher of this title in order to meet the preorders we have taken, but have not been able to secure the necessary inventory." and they "sincerely apologize for the inconvenience." This email came in last Monday and I've been trying to work with Fry's on the issue to no avail. I know I didn't order from one of the preferred launch partners and that is a decision I am now regretting. The only thing Fry's has been able to offer is a $10 credit towards the Standard Ed. and, after this situation, I'm not keen on giving them business just to save $10 on our copies. At this point I know it's a long shot, but I was hoping that the good folks at Bungie might see it in their hearts to somehow lead me to obtain copies for myself and coworker. I'd still be willing to pony up the funds for the title, shipping, etc. of course (though I'm not sure how that would work directly or through Activision). I'm willing for forward along the necessary info for verification of the pre-order and such if there's any way that this can be handled. I'm sure that some people will berate me for the post and I expect that. I did note that I failed to order from one of the launch vendors and it's within the final week before launch. I'm just hoping that there's a spark of hope for a couple of long time Bungie fans to secure their planned on version of the title. To add a final bit of spit-shine to the request, I did personally help keep up the Bungie April Fools joke video a couple years ago when they unexpectedly hosted it outside of their own site and on my company's servers. I never asked for a flaming helmet in exchange, but I'm hoping you guys can shine for me on this one!
