Hi,
When Destiny Launches, I'll be picking up one copy for the 360 to play with friends and another for the Xbox One since I own the console and I have friends I want to play with as well. I was wondering how character transfer would work.
Like lets say I've created a Warlock on my 360, but I've also created a Titan on my Xbox One, does either character transfer over? Are all characters account specific? Am I only allowed to transfer characters from my 360 to my Xbox One and not back and forth?
I really want to know so I can plan out who I want to play as in either console.
Thanks.

Yes it's all linked to your Xbox Live account. Whatever you create or delete on the 360 will also be reflected on the One, and vice versa. Hope this helps.

I think you can transfer but your only allowed 3 characters in Destiny so as long as you have room on your Xbox One you should be able to transfer

I was wondering the same thing but in my case I want to transfer my characters to my other Xbox live account but I don't think that's possible though is it? Not on Xbox one but I want to transfer my characters over to my other account on the same console I'm wondering if that's possible

Heads up though if you have one live account you can't have it signed on two consoles at the same time to play with friends if that's what you meant

I wish seeing how everything is saved on Bungie's servers that you could access characters between XB1 and PS4. seeing how you are unable to play with each other or even able to play with X360 or PS3. If its saved on bungie's servers it only makes sense.

Your characters exist within the same family. Everything you have is playable between 360 and One.
