How in depth do you think character customization is? How much does it actually impact the game?

Don't know for sure how in depth, I'm sure more than what we saw for the beta. It will impact everyone differently, I will guess that it will not matter to you much how your guardians looks, it may matter to some picking a character that they will be personalizing to lengths.
-
No. Character customization was just about final. The beta was a month before launch, they aren't making changes, just balance tweaks, bug fixes and server optimizations. The only time you will ever see your guardian's face is in the tower, if you specifically want to turn the camera and look at it; which I definitely won't because there isn't much customization to be done anyways.

So where I am speaking in uncertainty about a game that is not out yet, you are speaking slightly definitively, you cannot say that they are done with character customization and I am not saying they will definitely add more to it... like I stated before, character customization importance is relative to the player.
-
Why would they add features of any kind to the game this late in development? That never happens. Of course the beta wasn't a definitive representation of the finished game, but I doubt they were hiding character customization features from us. Let's just wait and see.

Cc in the beta was limited, we couldn't even use freaking shaders. They may have more options they might not have more options. But they should have thought about that and designed the beta/final accordingly.

We are talking about the character creation. So making your character's face, not equipment.
-
Did you read the whole comment or just the shaders part? Ok then.

Indeed, wait and see, that is what I have been saying. The reasons belong to Bungie and them alone
