I stopped playing call of dookie at black ops.
-
I stopped at Black Ops 2. Too much of the same ol' same ol'.
-
Not really. I mean the only repetitious titles are Infinity Ward COD after MW2 cos of MW3 and 4 imeanghosts So I don't know what people are talking about. Treyarch's COD's good, and hopefully Sledgehammer Games'.
-
I get what you mean, but to be honest, the last CoD I really enjoyed that felt different to me was between World at War and Black Ops 1. Black Ops 2 just just felt like thats what Modern Warfare 3 should have been, but that's just my opinion.
-
No, I disagree. Black Ops II felt totally different...
-
I am, it's actually the first CoD game I've ever been excited for. lol
-
I'll admit, it does look different. I just want to see more gameplay footage before I even consider buying it.
-
Of course. This one looks like the most innovative since COD 4... Hopefully.
-
That's true. This one does look like it's gone threw the most change since 2007. I'll probably watch more footage first before considering buying it though.
-
I'm waiting for the multiplayer reveal.
-
Exactly. The campaign will probably be alright, but nobody plays a CoD game strictly for a dolled up campaign.
-
Not strictly, but in this case it is the main selling point for me. I'll only get it if the multiplayer's worth the game because it's £55 for a AAA game that's only 4 hours long, so I need something to make it up to me to make it my money's worth, but it's still the campaign that's selling to me at this point because I want to see the new storyline cos it's backed by Kevin fu.cking Spacy. I could just play Black Ops II but if the multiplayer's good enough, I'll get it for the campaign...
-
I actually just saw the multiplayer trailer for it. I have to admit, it actually kind of excites me. It seems to be going a completely different route. Though, it looks and plays a little similar to Titanfall, I feel this will do a better job out of the two. Titanfall just never kept me hooked. It felt rather lackluster, in my opinion.
-
Edited by JAMES Z666: 8/14/2014 9:04:49 PMMeh the multiplayer looks good enough to justify the price tag but I'm getting it for the campaign. However, as long as the multiplayer isn't terrible, unlike in Ghosts, then I'll get it.
-
It just looks completely different in my opinion, so I may or may not buy it. I'll have to play it at a buddy's house first, but all in all, it does look a bit impressing. Ghosts was just awful and the only thing that stuck out the most was player customization.
-
As long as the multiplayer makes it worth the price, I'll get it. I'm getting it mostly for the campaign, but the game's only worth the price if the multiplayer's good. Hopefully it'll be good with the customisability and the exo suit...
-
Exactly. I mean, I'll still play the campaign, but I'd love a solid multiplayer before I decide to make a purchase.
-
Exactly! Multiplayer's important but campaign's what sells it cos otherwise you might as well make it DLC for the last COD game. Campaign's what gives the game identity. It's what makes the multiplayer make sense. It's what makes the game contextualised...
-
I understand what you mean, considering the multiplayers rely on campaign for a base level. All the maps are generally pulled out from the campaign, besides most DLCs. And they do give the multiplayer more of a backstory.
-
Exactly. Plus this time the storyline seems pretty interesting. Ghosts was like what the fu.ck with Brazil attacking America for no reason whatsoever, like Brazil could or would do that... But MW2 was good with Russia invading America. That was brilliant. Now the private military corporation is attacking America committing acts of terrorism and the American military has to defend America from the attacks...
-
This story line intrigues me. I'll defiantly jump into that first before multiplayer. I'm still confused, as to how things will play out. Will people enjoy the change? Or will people complain they want the old back? But if they went with the old, people complain they want change. It's just a two way street with the same outcome.
-
I don't know. I'm assuming the exo suit will make everyone happy. It's new and therefore people will like it because it's the biggest change since COD 4...
-
Well that's what makes me happy, but the with the route CoD took after CoD 4, it seems as though nobody wanted it to change. It took people 7 years to figure out that the games were relatively the same games, with either removed or added perks, shuffled around with different names.
-
I hope this time'll be different...
-
Fingers crossed.
