Discuss what we all have in common.

Destiny Community

When I logged back into Bungie.net (I havent been here in a long time) to start looking to form a clan I was excited. I had a chance to surround myself with fellow Destiny enthusiasts. Talk about what excited me, find players for my fireteam for raids and exploration. Just be around fellow gamers who have an appreciation for what Bungie has crafted for us. I've become somewhat disheartened with the state of these forums. Instead of the majority being people talking about something they love (I've seen it a bit) it's mostly trolls and crybabies. I figured since we all share multiple common interests (Bungie, Destiny, Gaming) it would be an ctual forum for us to get together and have real conversations without needlessly attacking each other or acting like a***oles but sadly that is not the case. Instead of joining together as a group, once again we've split into PS4/Xb1/old/pro/griefer/squeaker/tryhard/mlg/whatever and I hate it. Now, I'm no lovey dovey hippie, I hate my fair share of everyone, but I had hoped that we could be a community joined by our love for this beautiful and amazing game. I hate that that isn't the case.

    • It is pretty standard for official game forums. The chuckleheads are plying customers here so there is... a lot of slack. The best survival tip I can give is accept the low signal to noise ratio and just be ready ignore a lot of stuff as you weed though the noise looking for that signal. Or, just check the news and move on. Everything at this point is just tensioned laced wild speculation wrapped up in a lot of boredom. There is nothing really to talk about except the news until Sept 9th. See you starside! :P

      • You know insulting the people you dislike doesn't improve the forum any better. Plus, you don't have to engage in the topics there in, this is a pretty broad forum, I'm pretty sure you can find someone with a similar mind.
