I think bungie doesn't like microsoft after the halo incident, probably that and sony paid them for it

Hey, what went down with Halo?
-
Don't kniw the full story, but how bungie left halo behind because they wanted to do their own thing, the stories made it seem like microsoft kind of made them do it, so they left halo to another company (343) which is composed of former bungie employees, reach was the last halo ever made by bungie, that and odst where made side by side
-
My understanding is that Microsoft wouldn't let them make anything but halo and shot down their ideas for games like Destiny and basically forced them to milk halo.

Damn, I'm glad they got out of that controlling, abusive relationship then. This new game is amazing.

True say, don't take what I said as pure fact though, that's what I've heard was the case, not what I know to be pure fact.

It is basically true. Between H1 and H2 was like over a year. 2 and 3 was the same. 3 and ODST short of a year. And ODST and Reach barely 10 months. (All rough times). MS gave them no time to think, let alone work on anything else. Bungie was training an apprentice to take over. 343 takes the reigns and Bungie covers itself in a dark cloak and disappears. Years later Destiny is revealed in the shape of a giant hand. Destiny then proceeds to slap MS across the face religiously, giant smile on their faces as they do so. So I have heard...
