This video is about the current prices of games, I know this is off topic but I wanted to post in the place where it could get the most attention. If you have time to watch this 5 min. video please do and let me know what you think.

The industry capped prices at $59.99, I think in the 90s, which is why it feels like a magic number. They only go over that price when the game is more than just a disc (limited editions, guitar hero, etc.). Also, video games are the most cost-effective form of entertainment I can think of. $60 for a game I can play for 25 hours (not sure what the average is) is $2.40/hr. Movie? $5/hr in theaters. $15/hr if you buy the DVD and watch it once. As for the rest of the guy's points, people complained so much about games being short that developers basically HAD to add 'tacked on' content. And if you want to talk about economics, please learn some actual economics.
