I also have one of my guardian sitting up in the rafters in the tower, but I think most people figured out how to get up there by now.

I may be the slow one to the party but I'd love it if you told me about the rafter thing, goofing off in the Tower is one of my favorite activities :P

There is also a ghost in that area. It allows you to resurrect it, but doesn't register a grimoire card.
