Without a valid reason to why I'm getting constant disconnects with the Error code: Bee, I would rather cancel my pre-order and find out what the game is like from other's opinions. I realize that I wouldn't know what it's like unless I try it OR that the beta is in no way a reflection of the final product. In order for me to get a craving for a game, I must try it out, so far I'd just end up brushing the game aside when it comes out on retail.
This issue usually happens in Crucible and rarely on Tower. It is constantly happening regardless of what I do.
My connection is a wired connection, 3 feet from my router. My ISP is Bellsouth ( yes i know laugh it up) but i have great internet speed with other games as well as internet browsing... My NAT type seems fine, but I would love to know how to view its type with some assistance from the players here, as support @ bungie never replies to me set aside from platitude responses (bore). This only happens in the beta, games like battlefield 4 and Dust 514 run just fine, same for my PC games.
I am running ps3.
edit: i have tried port forwarding but my router doenst seem to have any updated screenshots for the website guide, so i wouldnt know what LAN ports to put in...
Thank you and I hope to experience the beta to its fullest!

As i'm scrolling through the replies, I can't help but smh while wearing this face :/ I mean, this person comes in here asking for help and they get shit like "git gud" "your connection sucks" "shove the plug up your bunghole" "you're a whiny child, yada yada yada... I'm like wtf? I see this forum hasn't changed from the days of Halo. Do we even have any Ninjas still here?
-
It's your connection not theirs, whining about it won't fix it, none of us are having a single problem.
-
Try plugging straight into your modem instead of your router for 30 minutes and see if the problem still happens. If it doesn't, you know there's something in the router and maybe we can help troubleshoot from there! Please keep in mind it's a beta and not a finished product. There will be bugs and some things will absolutely be messed up. Sorry for your trouble man!

Go on google and type error code bee for destiny
-
It's your ISP bro. Don't blame Bungie for lousy internet service
-
I don't know why everyone is telling you to go -blam!- yourself. Its a valid complaint and you at least voiced it reasonably. I'm sick of kids saying "git gud" like that's an actual solution to these problems. It does sound like your internet connection to the Destiny servers. Try port forwarding or different DNS addressed, if you haven't. Hope this helps.
-
have you tried to DMZ your ps3? ad Nat is usually a problem for Voice chat not so much everything else
-
It's so sad how many people expect a full retail game within a test beta. Yes please leave the Destiny community. We have no room for people like you.
-
What? You're getting error codes in a beta? Who'd have thought?
-
Before you even press the X button to start the bottom left of your screen shows that the game may crash at any point. Just stay calm, it's the servers. This was bound to happen. All this is a stress test for the real game... Now get your ass back to that store and re preorder your copy. Because my good man.. You're gonna regret it.
-
It's a goddamn beta you imbecile!
-
Basing your pre order on connection issues of a beta. Genius. This is genius.
-
First of all: I have the same issue and many others do. The error is automatically reported to Bungie and I'm sure they'll fix it till release. It's not a constant issue. Second: should have posted this in the Help forum, since that issue is already discussed there. And third: why do all of you guys posting those topics think anyone cares if you cancel your pre-order?
-
Edited by Celer Umbra: 7/24/2014 9:16:02 PMMy wife has the same issue, both of us have 100 mbps wired internet connections through mediacom and this still happens even though we have PS4s.
-
Your a weird one...u open pissed, making me believe you had a valid reason to cancel. But after the first couple of sentences, you were contradicting yourself....so are you really canceling or just blowing steam? Im curious now

Get a ps4 Problem solved And not to say you can't play it on your ps3 it's because I had the same problem on my little brothers PS3 and honestly I don't think destiny can run properly on last Gen My ps4 runs smooth no problems at all
-
This is the purpose of a beta. The game is not going to run perfectly. Bungie has adequate time to fix the problem pre-launch. It is frustrating when I get booted as well but I take it with a grain of salt because I have faith in the development team. The servers have only been tested a short time and they have over a month to work things out. I recommend not cancelling your order and realizing how great Bungie is, looking at how smoothly Halo runs and realizing your missing out on one of the most exciting game's of this generation. It's a beta, everything will work out in the end.

There's going to be no shortage of copies on release day, and you've already played the beta. It's a sensible move and no-one else needs to give you grief for it.
-
They're probably stress-testing the server. It's a Beta after all. Just chill out dude.
-
It's a Beta/Server-stresser. This kind of thing is welcomed by the devs so that they can be ultimately prepared for day one. The "Beta" for BF4 did the exact same thing, except they released the game too early. There will be more than a month between this Beta and the full release, the servers will run better than this.
-
u mad?
-
Had the same problem yesterday, that stopped happening today. Best thing to do is just wait it out until the problem stops occurring
-
Your connection is terrible dude... Buy real inter net.
-
I find it funny how people make post announcing that they will be canceling there pre order... As if the whole destiny community really cares. lol
-
Have you contacted Bungie about this or did you just proceed to make a post about you're canceling the game ? because I think this is exactly the type of thing Bungie is looking for in the beta so the release goes smooth.
