Account Linking Issues - Forced to use multiple Accounts?

I have given a quick look-over from the forum but was unable on the first three pages, to find a thread which questioned the same things that I wished to have answered. This touches -lightly- on it: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/66381443/0/0 I am not able to clearly make sense if this is an actual mechanic that I can use for my problem(s). Back in the day of Destiny being revealed to the public I created an account and did so through the "linking" (wasn't noted or stated as "Linking") to my Facebook. This is Account #1 henceforth. A good while later, aprox 1 year, I recieved the Pre-Order Serial Code for my pre-order copy. The site, this site, then told me to create an account to add this code into. Since I intended at the time to play the game on Xbox One, I created a Xbox/Microsoft account and typed in the code. This is Account #2 henceforth. Now when codes and mails are being sent out from retailers and the developers here, I was asked to log-in and verify the codes, accounts and all. When I attempt this, I am being told Account #2 is not functioning, or possible to attach the latest code from the retailer, and it tells me to create a new account, this one a PSN Account. Creating one such as this, attempting to add the new code to it, and I recieve a non-describtive error, telling me that the Code does not match the basis. This is Account #3 henceforth. So now to my question(s) - possibly with attached rant Am I able to merge all these accounts, Microsoft/Xbox, Facebook and PSN, into one single account? I wish to do this, to make it simple and consistent with progression and connection between friends, etc. Why on earth have I been forced to create three different accounts, in staggering order, by your system? And why does it still claim that the latest code I have recieved, the one where I am supposedly allowed freedom to choose which platform to use/attach it on, is not correct? - Is it pre-locked to one or another platform, from the Retailer? If the latter, I am really surprised since it states both on this site and in the mail recieved from Retailer that it is NOT locked into any/either platform - I will be allowed to choose it on THIS site. I can if necessary, offer all the Player-ID names and #'s for all three accounts - but listing them initially to me seems useless.

  • same here, I have 3 accounts, all with a different login link. I think it is bug account creation. should join the accounts with the same email, or at least have the option to delete the account.
