I envy all of the Xbox players...
As a playstation user, I already played the beta and alpha. I'll tell you, destiny is like heroin. If you've played it, you can't not want to play it. Games like watch dogs have no meaning anymore. I tried to play CoD or Battlefield, but playing them to try to curb the destiny withdrawals is like huffing glue when you need some sweet sweet crack.
So don't be jealous of us, xbox players. We should envy you. You Don't know what yesterday and today feels like. Video games have lost meaning. I urge you to enjoy today. As it's most likely your last day of being sober from destiny before you too with be addicted as we are.
Edit: Now that all of you xbox players have played as well, I'm sure you understand completely what I meant.

2 Repliesthe sad thing is it actually is true lol. The im addicted is because i havent played a great shooter since Halo 3 and it has the feel of Halo 3 with a killzone kind of kick to it. Not to mention the MMO aspect where everyone can uses their own stuff so it limits people from only experiencing one part of the game if they want to do good in matchmaking.

my first player shooter career in COD has in no way prepared me for DESTINY. i am truly awful especially in the PVP, this game will be legendary like the way we spoke of DOOM all those years ago.

I have played the Alpha ,ps4 beta and now xbox one beta . its better on the xbox gameplay wise. controller feels a lot tighter and more accurate and a hell of a lot more responsive. the double jump works way better than it does DS4. now if bungie would just turn down the f@ckn Aim Assist and give the xbox fans what they truly deserve that will be all this game really needs.

It happened to me, after Halo2 came to the end of its life span. I felt numb, that no game would ever be able to catch my attention again, but sorely enough I gathered my wits and once again found gaming enjoyable again. You need to moderate, otherwise you will turn into a jumble speaking, feeble shooting fan boy of Bungie. All your real friends will disown you and the only light that you will ever see will be from the stairwell when you emerge from your pit and head to the bathroom relieving yourself from a much needed break. That's not the worst of it. Your dreams will empower you. Your rested escape will be clutched away by the power of evil. You may even wake up to cold sweats, with the last thing on your mind; Deej, standing above you, holding onto the might of the ban hammer, threatening to smash your console into mere pieces of plastic, scattering it far and wide over the relics of the last city on earth. Now go be a man and not a mouse, before you hit that point of no return my feeble friend. The next time we hear you whimper it better be on the battle field and not in the arms of a loved one whom is forced to hold your hand. ;)

I was thinking the same thing while playing last night. Beta maxed all 3 classes. Found all 5 gold chests with each. Played crucible a few times (won some, lost some). Not really anything left except continue building upon faction ranks and getting gold tier on first daily random event for each character so as to receive the reward from the postmaster for each. The reward is usually glass shards or a strange coin. Also I've played through all available story missions, the strike, explore mode and crucible a few times since the beta came back online and have not found anything new.

7 RepliesHello, my name is Warrior. I have been on the Destiny since the Alpha was released. I admit at first I thought I could control how I felt when i played, but now i am not so sure. When i am not playing i get this urge, this hunger. I need to cover my self in Fallen blood and collect all the Glimmer and Spinmetal I can. Nothing else can compare to this feeling of Destiny. I find my self doing the same things over and over again. Devils lair, factions quests, I just want more and more. I have tried to go back to playing my "old" ps4 games but nothing is so sublime as Destiny. I look at my dog and think is there a way to get him in the game? Could i stick him in the disc drive and download him into Destiny? I have not tried yet, but i am sure there is a way. I am starting to wounder if i can get my self into this world. I think the lines of real life and Destiny are forming together as 1 world. The funny thing is, i do not believe I have a problem. I believe that as long as i use my warlock magic, i can find a way to bring my self into the light of the Traveler. The Traveler needs me. I must find a way.
