Xbox One is on the fritz!
As I eagerly await the Destiny Beta, I can't help but think what kind of frustration us Xbox gamers would be putting up with today if we HAD gotten the Beta today.
For some reason, Xbox Live on the Xbox One is going haywire. About an hour ago, I couldn't connect at all; I got my connection back now, but I can't access any of my games or apps on that console. My Xbox 360 is still working perfectly fine, though.
Hopefully these issues will be resolved by the time the Destiny Beta starts for Xbox users on the 23rd, but I have to ask... does this happen often? I only got my Xbox One a short time ago in preparation for the Destiny Beta, but I haven't really had the chance to play it, because I didn't buy any games for it (I'm waiting on Destiny itself and Halo:MCC).

This same thing happened to me, it's fine now though.

Titanfall went on without a hiccup even when they opened the beta to everyone (not just beta testers). So with TONS more people, Live performed just fine. I doubt Destiny will strain things anymore than Titanfall.

Yeah, I have 100% packet loss on my Xbox One. Thought I was getting DDoS'ed since I kicked butt on Reach earlier.

Here's my thory... MS saw what happend with PS so maybe there doing mock or proxy test to prepare for our beta lunch. Testing x1 severs and all that. I think Ms will do all they can to get us online playing as fast as possible [spoiler]im probably wrong just my thoughts [/spoiler]

Just hope that the issues you had today help plan for the 23rd, unlike those of use who had to put up with the crazy PSN issues. Took 2 hours to get the store to open, about another 10 to get my code in. About 30 minutes to download was the only nice thing.

Wgen that happens, best thing to do is to check the xbox website. Something similar happened on my 360 a few weeks ago, so i took a look online, and found out they were having issues with flickr and netflix, so the network was beeing whacky while they poked around. All in all, it is not unusual

1 ReplyWe have 3 Xbox ones in my house and none of them did that ever. I thinks it's your console. Power it up until your dashboard comes up and then power cycle it (hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it powers off) then wait for about two minutes and see if it worked.

No it's the first time it has ever happened and I've had mine since Christmas it's just xbox live having issues it happened to everyone today i think it's fixed now though
