When i saw the gameplay of Devil's lair and read some articles nothing stood out from it other than halo misson type gameplay. It wasnt what i expected it to be. Its nice to see Bungie incorporated strike Missions that reminds us of halo. But that is not the focus on why so many people are excited about Destiny. Everyone is craving that open-world exploration, adventure that Bungie promised. While Devils lair might of looked bland according to some, gameplay from the open world aspect of the game and its many locations would've been much more satisfying to See. Destinys life like world is what we crave to explore. Any people thoughts on this?
Everyone is craving that open-world exploration, adventure that Bungie promised.
This is what worries me. I myself don't mind seeing the new Strike Mission trailer, but I think Bungie shot themselves in the foot and killed the hype for players who don't know much about the game. I myself know what's in store, as I keep up with ALL the information, so I watched that with proper perspective, knowing exactly what it is: something of a side mission - However, no everybody does know that, so I think all that built up hype by Bungie for that trailer really just was a bad marketing move. I've been seeing TONS of comments about people who definitely have the wrong concept of Destiny, or are asking because it confuses them so much. Bungie made an incredible game, but they need to market it correctly if they want to bring in the non-faithfuls.
