I'm still trying to understand the concept of having big groups for this game. Not that I don't mind the camaraderie that it brings, but you can only play with 2 other people at any one time, and we still don't have enough info on PvP arenas to see how TDMs or team arena fights work (not trying to sound skeptical, just stating fact).

  • Raids are still about 6 people (two fireteams), unless there is something that says raids are multiple fireteams.

  • An organized well trained group could be very effective.

  • Yes you are correct, however that still doesn't explain groups that go far beyond that number in membership. How could you organize a group if you can't be there to oversee what goes on? And would these groups only participate in PvP in order to have more members working together or how do these groups plan on tackling a 3-man fireteam scenario (with another fireteam to form a group, making 6 total). That's what has me so confused.

  • Well the point is meeting people who like the same things as you, because I just changed to ps4 from Xbox 360 and I didn't know anyone, now I have people with whom I can play COD, a lot of Warframe, some FF XIV etc etc. Also guys who like the same things as me like all marvel related things and such. :)

  • Right, and that's awesome, it's just that what you mentioned is what defines a group normally. I mean, it's great you're finding like minded folks to play other games with until the game comes out, but what happens after? How many groups on here will actually want to play with every individual that joins the group? How many only care about numbers? How many only care about being the best at PvP? It's these questions that I have in regards to the groups.

  • I'm the same way. I don't see a point in extremely large clans. But a group of around 50 high quality members is a great idea. Clan bonus: Always having people to play with, having a community that shares the same passion as you do, making a name for yourselves within the community, and I can go on. It just matters if its well organized with a decent amount of quality people. But you could just simply travel in a team of 6 or 9 and when the time comes to split well just meet on the other side of the fire team zone. I know my main thing will be Raids and mass PvE areas. So I see where a clan can benefit from that.

  • Yeah, I'm with you on the benefits, don't get me wrong, but I have been on both ends of the "just meet on the other side of the fire team zone" in other games and it's just not a fun feeling to have.
