Why did they chose a ton of bloody wankers for Pokemon this time around?
All we really needed was Blaziken, but [i]nooooo[/i]

But you're right, Blaziken would've been better. I suspect Sceptile will be put in. That way well have one of each starter type. And it's also a nod (or tease) towards R/S/E remakes, which they've been doing a lot lately. Blaziken is less likely since we've already got a Fire starter. And Mewtwo will most likely make a comeback. He played a big part in X and Y.
