Made a Gaming Website/Forum/Community

I finally did it, I made my very own gaming website. I would really appreciate if you guys told me what you thought of it :) As of recently, I have made some changes, and am looking for people to populate the site. Anyone is welcome.

I'll try to provide some constructive criticism. As a web developer / user interface designer myself, it looks really nice for a gaming site but in my opinion, I think there is too much text right on the homepage. Right after I clicked your link, I didn't know where to look, I didn't know what to read. I tried reading the 'Welcome to AFG, a gaming community that...' part but then my eyes went to the 'We did it, we hit 100 members! I think this is one...' part (since everything is all the same font, my eyes didn't focus in on anything, my eyes focused and went all over the place) and then I read the 'Members online now' part and then saw the 'forms, resources, steams' part and then I scrolled down and then just saw even more text. There was no text which you directed my eyes towards since there was so much of the same font. After looking at the page for the first 10 seconds, I didn't know what the site was about, I just knew it was gaming because of the background image (I also knew the site was about.. well, a lot of text, lol). I'd recommend trying to make the title of the posts (the '100 MEMBERS AND 1000 POSTS!' etc.) a bit more eye-catching than the text / description of the post, and then make the "Welcome to AFG, a gaming community that likes to talk about everything. Register now to share your stats, and discuss your favorite games!" more visible, especially at this point in time since you just created the site and the first thing users would want to know is when visiting the website is, what does the site do? Also, after I clicked one of the posts, I had no idea how to comment or like it. I even tried searching for it and I still can't find it, so I suggest making the like button and the comment button a lot more visible and easily accessible. In addition, I saw that one of the posts said it had 4 comments (this post: http://aeroforcegaming.com/threads/release-date-new-trailer-bundle-images.251/ ). When I scrolled down, the fact that it said 'Comments' and then ended up showing the 'Recent Posts' section through me off. I highly suggest moving the comments and placing them right underneath where it says 'Comments'. When I viewed the post, it took me a while to realize that the comments were all the way on the bottom of the page. That's it for now, goodluck with the site :)
