Mine is 1143m. I was using the srr61 with straight pull, 40x and variable zoom.
I want to try out the rangefinder but is there really a point if it can't measure past 1000m? Do any of you guys use it? Also, thoughts on the bipod?

The Rangefinder will help even past 1000m, as it'll set you up for using the mil-dot method beyond that range calibration. Also, the bipod has its uses. I'd check it out.

Ah good point, then I won't have to run with the pld. Alright I'll give it a try.

Have fun head hunting! ;)
-
Haha you too!

Bipod is ok for long range, because at long, and I mean LONG range you should get a headshot medium to short use straight pull bolt so you can pop in and out of cover
-
Alright I'll try it out next time I go for those 1000m+ shots. But yeah I love that straight pull, especially now that at I have my precious GOL.

That gun pisses me off I cannot for the life of me get five kills from the towers in one round. And I consider myself to be a decent sniper
That gun pisses me off I cannot for the life of me get five kills from the towers in one round. And I consider myself to be a decent sniper
Hi, FYI many players camp, watching the tower for the sole reason of getting easy kills on those trying to unlock the GOL. What you want to do, saving time, frustration, effort, etc is to grab a friend jump in a unpopulated game -10/64, and kill-trade. It's a cheap way to unlock it but the assignment is just too annoying to complete "fairly" suppose it's just how much you want the gun

Ps, do it on firestorm, Caspian is an even bigger joke

Idk how but I got it the first round I played on firestorm. ( this is after camping for an entire round on caspain border in one of the towers along the wall and wondering why I wasn't unlocking it. *facepalm*) and it instantly became my favourite bolt action.

My problem is that there's so much space to cover and everyone has an srr 61
