It looks bloody awesome - it's the only game that I would actually by an X1 over a PS4 for.

I'm saving for Killer Instinct since I remember playing that a lot as a kid. But this did make me consider getting it as well. That is, if it's not being offered on the PS4, or PC.

Its not made by the new rare, so it actually has a chance of being good.

That is a good point. I'm still worried that the game won't impress, but I'll wait to see for myself.

I read in an article that people who developed for the original one are giving feedback to the new developer, so hopefully you won't get something like THPS HD. I think it also has a pay-by-character model (the game itself is free), which I'm not sure how I feel about.

Pay-by-character? What article is this by the way? I'd like to read it myself and see what the original devs said about this one.

I can see it as a mix of good and bad. It's good that you don't have to buy it for the standard price of a video game, but I'm worried that you might have to buy every single one to play and experience the game fully.
