Simply Put: How Is Everyone?

I haven't had much time as of late to actively participate in the forums. I do attempt to read through a lot of discussions and general topics, but while the reading may entertain or intrigue at times, I don't feel I possess the same connection I once did with my fellow members. This is likely a result from my decrease in actively engaging individuals in conversation and debate after having taken on a more observational approach to the forums due to lack of time, or sometimes just a lack of interesting content. So I thought, why bother creating a thread with a specific discussion to try an engage people? Why not just do what it is I wish to accomplish, and that is to just talk to you guys. To engage the lot of you as I once did. So, simply put... How is everyone? Is life treating you well? Any new or exciting events you wish to share? How excited are you for Destiny? Are you striving towards any goals at the current time? On my end, I'm particularly busy working but my wife and I are happily married, living day to day. I'm hoping in the next few weeks to maybe have time to pick up one of the few new big titles that have been released but I might wait for their next-gen versions when I pick up a next-gen console. I still haven't decided on PS4 or Xbox one but I'm sure my decision will be heavily based off of what the majority of my friends get. I'm pretty excited for Destiny and haven't had a chance to listen to the podcasts but I hear they're worth a listen. Oh I'm also in the process of trying to concoct a tasty hot sauce for wings or breaded chicken. Any tips would be awesome! Oh and does anyone else feel like this year just zipped by? I can't believe I'm already hearing Christmas music and commercials!

  • Things are fun. I'm in my final year of Computer Science at Western Washington University, and I've begun the fun process of trying to figure out what I'll do after I graduate, be it Internships, a Job, or getting a Masters. I feel I have the aptitude, I just need to get to work on polishing up my knowledge base and getting a crap ton of experience, probably through working on various whimsical game projects. I just need to get my work ethic sorted out and the path before me should start to open up.
