Xbox One Conspiracy

Just hear me out guys. I think this whole thing around the Xbox One was intentional. They go into E3, slowly releasing information that people don't like, policies that almost no gamer could agree with, and this is all something that Sony can use to their advantage. As we enter E3, gamers are FUMING from the blunder of a show that Microsoft put up, and the crowds roar in admiration as Sony sweeps the floor clean with Microsoft. But as the dusts settles after E3, Microsoft slowly takes back each policy they had originally implemented. Slowly and surly, just enough to keep themselves in the news. And now, we are at a matching point, with Microsoft and Sony almost toe to toe in the next gen console. Almost But through all of the backlash and flak that Microsoft suffered, they were able to burry the one true selling point that Sony could easily win with. Price. In today's day and age, nothing is more important in your product's competition than the price it costs in relation to other companies. And if this was the ONLY difference between the two consoles, Microsoft would have never won. BUT they have a chance now, because everyone was too busy with the policies. Now Microsoft seems like the good guys, giving everything back to the gamers. So that's the conspiracy. They wanted to cover up the price difference. And the main thing is that Sony can't go around parading the fact that they are cheaper, because they fell into the trap of the policies. Sony is too busy being all high and mighty after E3, they won't even see what's happening until the sales start to roll in. What say you?

It could be argued that the UK price drops were along this kind of line of thinking but without access to Microsoft's strategy documentation and discussions we can only really speculate...

              • lol, that would be hilarious, but no company orchestrates a PR nightmare that nightmarish on purpose. I'm sure on some level it's illegal too for giving consumers false information about their own product so they look better in the long run. It's also way too risky. Still, I'd laugh my ass off if in 5 years Don Matrick was like, "Yea, we planned that and you idiots ate it up like glaze on a doughnut."

Well the price is the biggest factor in it for me. I don't want to pay an extra £80 for a console with a bunch of useless features (to me) and with no exclusives worth buying it for (imo) £350 is still a lot of money but it seems better value than the Xbone.

                    • Since so many on this forum seem to be brainwashed, I'm going to explain to you how things really work. The world government is controlled by the Bilderbergs, a powerful, secretive group run by large corporations, who in turn are controlled by the Jews. While the Jews believe they are in control of the world, turning events to their own advantage, they are in fact being manipulated behind the scenes by the Freemasons, who are protected by the Knights Templar as they do their duties in service of the Illuminati. The goal of the Illuminati is to control history and major events to influence the development of humanity in the direction that they desire. In ancient times this can be seen in the "convenient" death of Genghis Khan before his army decimated Europe, and in the Kamikaze "Divine Wind" which dispersed the Mongolian fleet invading Japan. (Why emphasis on the Mongols? Because they are the only group of humans on Earth who know what is really going on and are fighting for the freedom of humanity). In modern times, the Illuminati's influence can be seen in the assassinations of every president who opposed the Federal Reserve (controlled by Jews). The only exception being Andrew Jackson, who survived the attempts on his life thanks to his gigantic testicles. But what are the Illuminati trying to accomplish? They want nothing less than the complete subjugation and control of the human population on Earth, all in service of the true masters of the whole operation, the Mayans, who have a massive fleet of spacecraft hiding behind the Moon, waiting for the day when they can simply step in and take direct control. This is why the US government suddenly ceased the Apollo missions, because the Mayans did not want to be discovered.(The Roswell incident was in fact a crashed Mayan scout ship) Our only hope lies with the Mongols, who constantly harass the Illuminati whenever possible. (Such as by instigating the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, and by sinking the Titanic, which was carrying several key Illuminati members). The -godwinslaw!-, led by the great Adolf Hitler, were also a force fighting for humanity, which is why the hidden powers organized the rest of the world against them, and rewrote history to forever make them hated by the general populace. (This also explains the obsession the -godwinslaw!- had with developing UFO technology) However, the Mongols(and remaining -godwinslaw!-) must be careful, for if the Illuminati are ever completely defeated, the Mayans will come out of hiding and launch a full scale invasion of Earth. Thus, a careful balance must be achieved until we can develop the necessary technology (in secret) necessary to defeat the Mayan 9th fleet. Now you understand, if you will open your eyes.

                        • Lol I could see it. If this is true, though, they'll probably drop the price to like $350, and PS4 will be no more.

                          • If that were true not only would it be an incredible risk but it would also be one of the most daring and rewarding business moves of all time.
