Not quite a favorite moment, but my favorite gaming experiences come from the countless LAN parties my friends and I had in SoCal during the early 2000s into the Halo 2 era before everyone moved onto Xbox Live. Hauling Xboxes and huge CRT television sets to each other's houses was well worth it for the sixteen-player Halo matches. Nothing could ever beat CTF on Blood Gulch or Sidewinder with two 8-player teams all crammed into the same room shouting smack talk at each other over open pizza boxes. All those moments are lost in time now, like tears in rain.
