Once in rocket race, the checkpoint spawned right next to me, and so I thought "oh I'll get out" because our third partner had left and that can make things hard. But my partner had seen it too, and even though we were going very fast, he performed a 90 degree turn at speed, and somehow I wind up free-riding the warthog right into the checkpoint, and we got the point right as we all exploded. But the best moment I ever had playing a Bungie game is when we watched the replay, at our own speed, and saw that I made it nearly 20 steps, perfectly in synch on top of the warthog, and when, only inches from the checkpoint, the warthog gets slammed and goes flying, and I managed a step or two on the back of the warthog, instinctively jumped and landed feet first, in the gate, as rockets lit it up from all directions.
