Life is a collection of memories and experiences. Both of these were at a high when I decided to purchase Halo 1 with 3 controllers and didn't own a Xbox. The feeling I get now from watching videos of Destiny is very similar to the one I had years ago. Being able to play and enjoy another game with these expectations doesn't come around too often. It's destiny for me to purchase this game and enjoy a fresh series all over again! Thanks Bungie!

I'm excited for Destiny because I want a game where I can explore the universe with friends and unlock new items and equipment along the way with full customization. I can not wait to assemble a fire team and not just explore, but play competitive multiplayer battles. "How could anything be bigger than Halo? Well we'll find out". I couldn't be more excited for a game in my life. The only exception would be more games later on in the series.

I wanna explore the galaxy with my friends and find exotic weapons buried in the ruins of our once great nation, I want to protect the people who can't fight for them selves, I want to help other players when they are in trouble, I want to KILL any Fallen that get in my way..... This game is one that i can't wait for, well i can but anyway, For ages i have been trying to find a game that allows me to completely develop as a character the way i want to, i wanted it to be a console game as that is where my interests mostly lie, i wanted the feel of science fiction mixed in with the mysticalness that other rpg games can provide, i feel destiny is going to be so unique and cant wait to get my hands on it, Bungie you are also a major inspiration for me who is aiming to go to university to study game development ^_^ Seeya Starside :3

I've always loved bungies games and now that they're making a new universe, I am really excited to once again be introduced and mind blown by a new epic adventure by bungie, and I often keep myself updated with more news about destiny and so far it looks really great and exciting I can't wait to play it with my friends as a fireteam and explore the solar system we once owned, and take it back from the alien inhabitants who plan to wipe us out, and save civilization

Ya know how people say "in the future, you will b able to go in a special room put on a weird outfit and suddenly you in space fighting aliens and you are the joystick" to me.......that is what Destiny is ganna b. I have been waiting my hole gaming life for this game and now its here, im 95% sure that i won't get tired of this game for at least 30 years. I need this game, Destiny is on my desktop wallpaper, phone wallpaper, everything i have, well not everything but a lot of stuff i have Destiny on it. My Destiny is to get, play, and concur Destiny (even though i dont think you cant concur Destiny). I literally cant stop thinking bout Destiny, and it kills me to know that i have to wait a hole YEAR to play it. i KNOW Destiny is ganna be better than halo, i just know it. Its ganna be the first thing when you type in D in the google search. This game will crush all other games and turn them to dust. I NEED everything that has to do with Destiny, thats how much i love it even though iv never even played it.

3 RepliesEdited by Darknal: 7/9/2013 9:58:01 AMBecause I made an Epic Machinima called 'The Forgotten Spartans' and it gained over 6 million views using your awesome Halo 3 title which utilised editing to the extreme starting in Part 7. Thousands have said I deserved an Oscar, but perhaps this would be the equivalent. So the reason I want to play Destiny is to again, use your engine to create a masterpiece that will show the game in its full glory to entice more players to buy and enjoy the game as I will be.

I would like to play Destiny out of nostalgia and curiosity. When I saw the first trailer, I became reminiscent of the hundreds of games I played on Halo 3, while at the same time, I knew this would be a new adventure, a new frontier. I knew there would be great times for me to have by myself, or with my friends. There would be great new experiences to be had. Whenever info would be released, I would watch it many times, show it to all my friends, and it would cause my curiosity to expand, which eventually led me to spend $60 to preorder the game. People say curiosity killed the cat, but I won't let anyone take me down until I get my hands on Destiny.

Why do I want to play Destiny? I have been dreaming of making video game ever since I played mario on NES with my dad. The first fps I played was Halo CE. It completely changed how I saw thr game industry. I didn't really understand the game as I was only about 7, but it was endless houra of fun with my neighbor. I want a game better than that. Better than anything I've ever played before. And if there's one company that can do it, its Bungie. I want to play Destiny for the hours upon hours and days and weeks of fun with my best friend. I want to havr a connection to a character like never before. I want to be able to be competetive, and still be working together. I want an endless universe to explore.I want to play Destiny because all the things I've dreamed of in a game, are in Destiny.

Why do I want to play Destiny? Well, the moment I heard Bungie, the creator's of my favorite series of games, was moving on to a project called Destiny, I was hooked. Bungie seems to really care about their fans and they made such awesome games that I knew whatever Destiny was I would buy. After seeing the E3 gameplay...oh my god...seriously I cannot wait. The different races, the customizable weapons and armor, the lore behind it all, makes me very excited to play. I have never played a game such as this, but the Public Event looks so radical. As I saw that go down I was literally shaking with excitement. I am really looking forward to immersing myself into this brilliant new universe that Bungie has created, and I look forward to all the new adventures I will have over the next decade, either alone or with all my friends. I was destined to play Destiny. P.S. Peter Dinklage as a voice actor was the greatest idea ever.

Customizable armor, it even could be tiny like you fireteam logo or something or as big as a variation of the color such as the guns default color is bright green you could change it to dark green and dark blue and everything in between.

I can't wait for Destiny, and I am pretty sure this will be the game we fans are hoping for, even though it is not Halo! For me the Halo story ended with Halo 3, we finished the fight, and it was an epic ending as well. Destiny, new fresh start for a whole new gameplay adventure!

I was barely 15 years old and picked up an Xbox in November with money from my first job (lied about my age on the application). I was already a huge sci-fi geek at this point, and looking at Halo's box art recall thinking to myself "hey this looks cool". I only had money for one game, so I chose Halo. I spent the a lot of time that winter playing Halo, and Obi-Wan that was a Christmas gift from my uncle. I remember distinctly how awed I was by the beautiful outdoor environments and maze of alien structures, it was all so mysterious and in a lot of ways mystical, and how in my mind it was as real as life. Then the plot got even deeper, and with the reveal of the Flood and Forerunners, I was now faced with three foes. It was no longer the archetypal "fight the bad guys and win," but a living universe. Master Chief wasn't this soldier messiah figure he becomes in later games. He's just a guy in the wrong place at the right time. And that's what I love about Halo 1. 343 Guilty Spark and The Library are my all-time favorite Halo levels. I see a lot of that same imagination and spirit in Destiny, and that's why I want to play it.

2 RepliesBecause it is the video game equivalent of seeing an amazing shiny new action figure in the toy store window as a child. Then with hard work and a bit of saving you finally buy it. And during that time you spent saving up you discover that it is not only as awesome as you had expected the manufacturer has upgraded it and it now shoots rainbows and rockets.
