1 ReplyAs a 35 year old I grew up on the quake series of games and always enjoyed the sci-fi based weapons over the more traditional weapons we have seen in the modern shooters. Since the switch from PC to console years ago I lost touch with that genre of shooters. I always felt the COD games were missing a co-op mission aspect that I am excited to see in Destiny and can't wait for the BETA release to test it out with a peer. So in summary, Destiny is combining a lot of great aspects from all the games I have been playing over last 2 years. Co-op, Domination multiplayer maps (my favorite), class system (its like dragon age meets halo), expansive maps to explore. Looking forward to this game with what little time I do have to play. Console PS4.

I want to experience the full power of a next gen console, and I believe Destiny is one of those games that you shouldn't pass up. I've always been shy in school, but as soon as I step foot with my guardian I shall become the bravest of them all!

1 ReplyI want to play Destiny to explore the worlds you have created for us. To fight those bastard who wish to end all of humanity. To drive the darkness back to whatever hole it crawled out of and claim victory in the name of humanity and the traveler. I want to play Destiny to challenge myself in the Crucible against new and old guardians. Halo 3 was my first online FPS experience and its where I made a lot of my long time friends. I can't wait to play Destiny, to relish in old memories and make plenty of new ones, from the best god damn studio ever! All hail Bungie!

Because Playing Destiny and Bungie goal of World Domination are one in the same. Playing Destiny One will Be top of the Leader boards in the Multiplayer Only One will Have Title World Domination

I want to play because I love to earn loot. I love the challenge of completing tough missions and defeating bosses with my friends to earn loot. Destiny remind me of my Borderlands days and I would love to experience those again. I know Destiny will be awesome and a solution not disappoint. The Alpha was amazing and the Beta looks to be even better.

I want to play Destiny because it seems like a living world I want to be in.

Halo: CE was my gateway to Bungie, but I've only joined this website since Halo: Reach. Destiny was the game that was whispered in the shadows then, and I've always wanted to know more. I loved playing the Halo games and finding all of the references and easter eggs. I want to find all of them in Destiny. I loved the stories Bungie has made and I can't wait to be a part of their new one.

That moment when you realize nobody checked the original post date.

Because it's the game that as a gamer I've always wanted to play. It's the first game that can probably draw out the true power of next gen! Plus it's like Borderlands and Halo had a drunken night and created some kind of miracle child.

I found Destiny as a break through in console gaming. Finding a way to create a game that can be half MMO and half RPG and still make it the fun first player shooter the we love and remember from the halo series makes it the game of the century in me eyes

To become legend. ;)

This is from last year folks.

I want to play destiny to explore! To set forth from a mildly familiar earth and plant my feet on planets I have looked at and dreamed about since childhood. Then I want to blast away the enemies that have consumed those childhood dream-scapes and renew the glory that they once held. I want to be an important piece of the world that is Destiny...I want to be Legend.

Exploration, loot, friends, adventure, strangers, gunplay, vehicles, and dancing. Why wouldn't you want to play?

Im just excited to have a reason to own a console again. After my 360 died after a few years of use I was put off from consoles. Went to PC gaming and thought i would never come back. Although as time passed and more info had started coming I started getting excited. This game is what i was looking for. This is what brought me back into consoles. For console gaming this is the step i was looking for. Destiny is going to draw the line on what a good shooter needs. Yes, not every game is going to be this fps/rpg sci fi aspect. But this is why im excited. Destiny is going to be great and i cant wait for the beta!

lol who bumped this

Iv been waiting for a game that would deliver on technical innovation, good game design, and support for a strong community since halo 2, and 3! From my brief time with the Destiny Alpha I can already tell that Destiny will deliver on all that and more. That is why I want to play Destiny ! Keep up the great work Bungie!

2 RepliesI want to play Destiny because it's the game i've allways been waiting for. I love games were you custumize your own character, and weapon, AND spacecraft!!! That's awesome.. But me and my frend are in need of this game. Everyday we text each other if we find news about Destiny. But here's the real deal. I didn't own a single shooter before Halo 2(I was more into motorsports then) but when I got into the infected high-charity level, it scared the shit out of me, but at the same time I loved it, but i've never had that feeling again but I really think Destiny has the right ingredients to revive that feeling. But guys(and ladys) admit it, it's always been our destiny.

Life is a collection of memories and experiences. Both of these were at a high when I decided to purchase Halo 1 with 3 controllers and didn't own a Xbox. The feeling I get now from watching videos of Destiny is very similar to the one I had years ago. Being able to play and enjoy another game with these expectations doesn't come around too often. It's destiny for me to purchase this game and enjoy a fresh series all over again! Thanks Bungie!
