Edited by Namdor_07: 7/8/2013 3:27:24 AMThere are too many moments for me to pick a singular moment. what I will choose is what feels like a singular moment. Each week myself and 7 friends would get together at my friend Christian's house. He was a little bit older than us and owned his own house which had a basement that could house 8 people. So every Wed night we would head home after school, unhook all the cords from our 32inch Tube TVs and lugged them into the passenger or back seat of our cars hoping they wouldn't break in transit (you young kids have no clue how much this sucked with your fancy portable flat screens and xbox live). We would order Pizza, LAN our Xboxs together (again you young kids have no clue) screen watch/kill and subsequently lie about it. it was the best days...umm nights of our lives. I will never forget this time with my friends who I still hold close to me to this day. Thank you Bungie and sorry I can't get my favorite moment to less than a hundred words but you simply mean too much to me.

2 RepliesBack on the original Xbox I was too young to play Halo, but every Friday and Saturday night, my Dad and I would sit together, him playing and me watching. The Xbox was the first console for both of us, so it took some getting used to, but after a while, we'd gotten through the campaign on the lesser difficulties. Legendary was a different beast though, we spent at least 5 weeks on the Hunter room on Truth and Reconciliation. But we finally got through, and the legendary ending made it all worth it. Thanks Bungie, for our time together!

Edited by Jacks: 7/8/2013 5:05:54 AMWhen Lightning Struck During Reach, I worked and worked and worked through my parents’ frustration to save 2,000,000 cR for the Inclement Weather armor effect. When I at last acquired that final credit, we LITERALLY stopped everything and had a ceremonial button push. I then enlisted two of my siblings to head to Forge where we did a Victory Dance. Some Bungie Pro render minutes and editing later, I then posted my Victory Dance on YouTube!

First off, I loved halo 3's ranking system. It was so competitive! Anyways, My buddy and I were playing team doubles on Halo 3. We started up a match and i only need one more win to get my 45 (Brigadier) rank. We started off great but it quickly was turned around. We were losing and the score was 23-24. I picked up the snipes as my buddy called them out and flanked them. Then, for the win, i got a double headshot no scope on them! I dropped the controller and started to cry.

Halo 1 LAN parties playing CTF with all my friends. Matches would go for hours. Smacktalk echoed up and down the halls. Pizza was EVERYWHERE! Those parties were the best gaming experiences of my life.

So one time I hosted a Halo 3 LAN party and the people who were there was me; my cousin and 6 other guys. I was kicking everybody's butts because, you know I love Halo and am very good at it, so we played a match of Team Slayer and it was everybody against me. The rules were that I could only use the Assault Rifle, grenades and Magnum (and no vehicles) they could use anything. I got so into the game that the end score was; ME = 25 kills and ENEMY TEAM = 0. It was so awesome!

I find it difficult communicating with my brother sometimes but we both share a passion for gaming so when something comes along we can both enjoy I relish it. Kicking ass on legendary and multiplayer were some of the best times I've had with him and I look forward to playing Destiny together down the road.

Not one favorite moment, but countless ones. That excitement I got when my regular group of friends matched into BTB in Halo 2, where each and everyone of us knew exactly what each person was going to be doing. Whether it worked out or not didn't matter much in the end. But that mental connection that occurred when the round started trumps all the OMG moments and is what lingers on in my mind.

I was driving the nimble Mongoose across the dunes of Sandtrap, catching some sweet hang-time on every slope. My friend was riding brokeback wielding his trusty rocket launcher, he never put that thing down. As we rounded the corner of an old mysterious ruin an enemy Banshee ambushed us. As I attempted to evade its dreaded plasma fire my friend turned to face our foe head on. The latest UNSC budget cuts may have damned us. Regardless, my squad mate fired and landed a direct hit. It was because of his actions that I'm here to tell the tale.

1 ReplySo me and some friends were playing Halo 3 online and then we are matched against a certain player whose gamertag was “tuano”. Now we don’t know if it was intentional but in Spanish that means “youranus”. We immediately started laughing and started making jokes whenever he killed any of us, like “Oh god I just got killed by your anus!”. “Oh god your anus is -blam!- us, help!!”. “Please keep your anus from camping!” “Your anus just shot a laser at me!”. It was probably one of the funniest things to ever happen to us in matchmaking.

My favorite moment would be playing 3 man teams on oddball with 3 balls on Halo 3. We got together all 3 oddballs and held a room and beat down everyone coming in until we won. At the end we were all rolling on the floor laughing over what just happened. But the next second we were on the other side of the coin the next game.

My first time playing "fat kid" was marvelous. Never had I played a game where the original developer gave us that much custiomiztion. It felt like I was playing a mod on Halo 3. Just being so slow and trying to infect 15 players. I played that gamemode for a whole day, that's all I wanted to do, nothing else. Custom games in halo 3 with all 16 players is probably my most favorite gaming moment ever.

My story I played all halos, getting ps4 to play destiny. Bungie on playstation is my base.

I got an OG Xbox and a copy of Halo CE in November 2001(it was supposed to be a Christmas gift but I sneaked into 'Santa's' room and pulled out my Xbox and copy of Halo CE from their respective boxes.) I was too excited to wait for Christmas. I was immediately hooked after playing all Sunday. I told my friends about this new game called Halo and we immediately ditched school to go beat the campaign on Legendary. This went on for about a week until we finally finished the campaign. Afterward we wanted more, so we decided to play a game of multiplayer. It was a FFA game with 3 of my friends. I destroyed them all and at that point we were all immediately addicted to the multiplayer. My friends were so perturbed by their complete and utter ass kicking at my hands that they too had to buy an Xbox and a copy of Halo CE so that they could compete with me. Shortly thereafter we discovered system link, announced to all of our friends in high school we would be hosting a Halo CE LAN party at my house, and proceeded to sink hours upon hours into some 16 player competitive multiplayer. I have countless memories and great experiences in those following years of Halo greatness. I am eagerly awaiting to see how many more hours I can spend and memories I can make playing Destiny! Bring it on Bungie, bring it on:)

Edited by Sinova: 7/8/2013 5:16:08 AMSidewinder, 2002. 16 players "Flag stolen!" Their Warthog escaped, and our paired 'Hogs and Ghosts gave chase around the map. Suddenly our lead Ghost exploded, then the next. We slid around the bend to find two enemy Scorpions. "Shoot the flag!" Our combined force dropped their flag runners. The tanks fired and our lead 'Hog detonated. "Punch it!" Another blast launched our 'Hog forward, killing everyone- except me. Our flag was ten yards away. I ran for it. Grenades and tracer rounds crossed my path. I jumped. Bullets shred my health bar and I collapsed as the . . . "Flag returned!"

One night I was playing Halo 3 with my friends, driving around on Sandtrap in a Chopper and looking for anyone foolish enough to oppose me. Then all of a sudden, I start getting chased by a Banshee. For some reason, he wouldn't use his plasma cannons, just the Banshee bomb. After chasing me around and missing for a good ten minutes, he accidentally ended up flying towards me. After boosting off of a structure, I launched straight into him, wrecked his Banshee and got a Splatter kill. I've never laughed so hard playing Halo before.

I have 2 best moments when playing the Halo series, here is one: My friend and I were the only ones that did not give up to fight a premade team of pros who made everyone else quit. Their formation: 2 spectres with snipers, 2 banshees, and 2 wraith tanks. Despite it being 50-12 at end game (8 to 2), we gave them one hell of a fight. Party games like Mario Party have reign supreme in these moments of joy or curses, but Bungie was the first that did it with the FPS genre.

Edited by Richarizard4L: 7/8/2013 4:40:30 AM100 words is mighty short for all of my years playing your games. I missed two years of middle school to play Halo 3. I have so many memories with so many friends starting with when I was six years old playing Halo: CE with all of my childhood friends who I still play with to this day. That one memory that I will never forget... "I was playing with my friend Dylan when we decided to make our very own Halo 2 clan. I don't remember the name but I do remember how people got into out clan. Now I was very young around 9 or 10 years old so don't judge me! THE requirement to get into our clan was that you had to crouch walk around the outskirts of Waterworks while me and my friend constantly harassed you while we flew around in our banshees the entire time. I mean we didn't have many members but it sure was fun doing it!" I really hope Destiny can bring me closer to my friends as your previous games, I am pretty BLAM sure you guys can give us these opportunities in the future and I can not wait until I can BECOME LEGEND. Because I am going to make sure I get pretty BLAM close to doing so.

Edited by max 1468: 7/8/2013 6:06:40 AMA great favourite moment of mine in a Bungie Game was: When one day some friends and I were messing around in Halo 3 campaign. We decided to mess around and saw a "garbage can"! we messed around and got in it. It turns out it started to fly! We were laughing so hard, flying around hitting the Scarab and flying out of the map was a great time. Another moment of mine that I take pride in was on Bungie day, when you were selling the concept art for Halo I was lucky enough to win the Art for the Ghost for
dollars. It is my prize possession in my games collection. Bungie I probably won't win but if you do read this I would like to properly thank you for the hundreds of hours of fun I've invested into your games, for the great times I've had and the friends I met and game with. Thank you for everything that you've have done and the best of luck in your future games.

From atop the pillars of Sandtrap, I spied my friend blu621 atop the pillars opposite my location on the map. I raised my SRS99D-S2 AM to my eye and magnified the scope 10x. I took the shot. I watched as his body, encased in blue Mjolnir Mark VI armor, tumbled off of the side of the pillar. He respawned at a point at the very bottom of the pillar which he just stood atop, And I saw the identical blue body fall directly on top of him, killing him. One bird, Twice, One stone.

Warthog demolition derby on Halo:CE with friends. We are still close friends to this day. Give you one guess as to what kept us together over a decade later. Thank you.

well i have many but the most memorable would have to be the time wen me and my friend who was very excited to go threw the entire reach campaign with all skulls on and it literally took us 50 hours of nonstop playing no sleep. best weekend of my life

1 ReplyEdited by ratman3022: 7/8/2013 4:05:59 AMMy favorite memories go all the way back to the early days of the original Halo... Before Xbox live, achievements, and prepubescent boys yelling obscenities at you while kicking your a$$. My buddies and I took part in a sport we called Warthog Jousting on Blood Gulch. It involves two warthogs driving as fast as they can right at eachother trying their best to flip the other one. The old school physics made it a riot and I suggest you try it if you still have the original.

Halo. Friend's basement. Old chunky TVs and original Xbox consoles. Those were the days. Carefree and having 12-16 person Xbox LAN parties with none other than Halo CE. My friends and I would get together almost every weekend one summer. So many great memories. My high school crush was there too, so that was always a bonus. (we're married now, btw!) We always made sure we had food, soda, and lots of Halo. I still try to get people together for Halo nights, but now they are few and far between. Most of us are married and some have kids; me included. I'm proudly raising part of the next generation of Bungie fans. <3

It was way back in Halo 1 playing couch Co-op with my brother. On the mission "Halo" when you get to the room where your journey through the foreign subterranean system is halted by a void, we explored the right of the room, to be ambushed and my brother be brutally in front of me, i avenged his death and we both watched in aww as i activated the control pad to watch as the very light around me was transformed into a sustainable bridge across the chasm... It dwells in my dreams even now, forevermore tantalizing my nights.
