  • You know the moment when you think "How the hell did I do that?" after you just performed something completely unintentional? Well....One time on the level Delta Halo (Halo 2) in the area where you extend the bridge, the wraith on the opposite side shot a perfect mortar at me which cause my warthog to launch in the air and land dead center in front of that very wraith which inevitably killed me. My friend (In split screen) saw the entire show from his ghost and he just could not stop laughing. We had to have been sitting there for a good 5 minutes just laughing our asses off. It was so good, that memory always stuck with me.

  • The year was 2005 my friend and i had just bought Halo 2 and Xbox live. We both got invited to someones tower of power game. My heart was racing i felt that i could play for days and days. This was the time of my life and i knew then that this was the start of something big.

  • "NAME EACH MEMBER OF NOBLE TEAM!" My friend barked. Reach, 4 player, legendary all skulls on. We'd given up and were taking our frustration out on our extremely inebriated team mate. We'd gathered around his spawn point (the corner of a room), yelling Halo lore related questions at him. Answering correctly rewarded him with another question, answering incorrectly ended in death. Already, many of his own corpses lay at his feet. He slowly slurred "June, Carter, the girl, um .... Email?" We all burst into uncontrollable laughter. I fell off my chair. One of my friends even broke his mic.

  • Me and three of my best friends decided to go for the Deja Vu achievement in Halo ODST. We did't know that the mongooses with 1000 ammo rocket launchers was there so we went in with the limited standard equipment available. Needless to say it turned into a war of attrition. We slowly advanced through the map checkpoint by checkpoint until most of our heavy weapons were depleted. This was 2.5 hours in and were determined to win. A couple of the guys had to go eat dinner and while they were away I decided to formulate a plan. Since we lacked weapons, we would use vehicle jacking to eliminate all the enemy vehicles. When everybody was back, I informed them of the plan. We all ran out in unison and four of the eight enemy ghosts rushed us, in the same moment we all jacked one ghost and used it to boost over to the other set of ghosts. Again we jacked the ghosts and all of a sudden we had taken out 8 ghosts while not firing a single bullet. We continued the strategy when we encountered 2 wraiths and successfully commandeered them as well. This strategy allowed our ragtag group to make it all the way to the end of the map and after a total of 4 hours and 41 mins we completed the achievement. I have never felt so happy to hear that familiar *bleep bloop*. This is merely one of my favorite moments which Bungie has allowed my friends and I to share and I have innumerable others. Thank you Bungie for all the laughs, tears, and friends you allowed to me to share. See you in Destiny!

Freshman year at the college I went to. Myself with two other friends were playing Halo 3 MP. One friend had to go to the bathroom, so without dropping the controller he went to the bathroom and continued playing while on the toilet. You could still see the TV with the door open. He got a triple kill. Not my 'favorite' moment, but unforgettable much like the Halo series and the numerous memories I have playing.

  • My buddy invited me into Burial Mounds 'Halo 2' and was like "Hey I wanna show you something." Of course because we glitched a lot in customs I was interested. More or less he told me to stand against a structure while he climbed in a Wraith. I assumed he was gonna send me flying like we did so many times before. I'll never forget respawning after being rammed through the geometry and seeing my dead Spartan model larger than life or at least the level hanging out above us.

  • Halo 2, birthday party, system link, and 10 of my friends. Beaver Creek, free-for-all, 250 kills, no time limit and one of my friend's controllers couldn't shoot. Said friend resorted to melee in the back for kills. He ended up getting 2nd place amongst the 11 of us. A night we still talk about, remember, and cherish. Thanks to Bungie.

  • Sure Red Bull, chips, the greasiest pizza in existence, and plenty of Tijuana Mamans seem mandatory for a proper LAN, but sometime you just have to go with what you have in the house. Sometimes you have family coming over for a three course nice meal, and sometimes it's Friday night and seven other dudes are already at your house ready for a night of fun and fragging. Sometime these things happen, but just once in awhile all these things happen on the same day. On that night that only happens once in awhile, we feasted like kings while playing king of the hill. I can say this, nothing makes a night of Halo and friends rock, like a steak dinner.

  • I remember sophomore year of college I had gotten my roommate back into playing Halo 3, so me and him would play hours of online multiplayer with our dorm room open while yelling at our teammates or screens for pretty much the entire time. Our RA who lived across the hall actually wrote a letter on our white board in the hall about us being too intense which led to a back and forth white board battle. I just remember it being a really funny time that came from playing an amazing bungie game.

  • My favorite moment in a Bungie game was in Halo 3, and it was my 50 game in dubs. Me and my friend were down by 10 points and we were both screaming at each other because we both knew it was the game I was going to get my 50. Then all of a sudden we just clicked and ended up spawn trapping the other team on foundry, and ended up beating the other team by 5 points. I will never forget that day because it was my first 50, and I will never forget Halo 3.

Halo 3, team doubles. A friend of mine was in town for a family get together where we planned to play doubles. He was lvl 49, i was 50. Over the course of 2 days we won 19/22 games without him leveling up... The morning of his last day in town, we played one last game, getting him 50, 20/23 wins. Legendary...

While playing Halo Reach I joined the community HaloTracker. They would host game nights in Reach, while playing, I also made a friend there. He would host lobbies most game nights and I would get invited to his lobbies. I was shy at the time, until one night that we played with another community that was annoying, we started messaging each other that we should play after they were gone. At that point we both had feelings for each other. Weeks later I got invited to a party that had his life friends in it and they knew what was up. So they asked if I was interested. His friend sent a text him to get onine, lying saying they needed help. Once he was there they told him. So after a few days we got together. We were long distance, but now live together, going almost a year now. Thank you Bungie for making Halo!

  • Back on my old account, me and friends over Xbox always together in Halo 3. The most memorable moments which became my favorite was spending time with them in Halo 3. First, I met one in a Team Doubles match of Oddball. He then introduced me to his friends and we all had a great times with each other. We would make awesome screenshots, play awesome custom games, beat the campaign on Legendary, find all skulls, try to get all of the armor, play ranked/unranked multiplayer matches and our favorite was the Double EXP Weekend playlists that started on Thursdays.

  • Me and a buddy of mine used to play Halo 2 religiously and we got to the point where we would set our handicap to severe in team slayer and not only that but tell the other 2 random players that had joined us that we were going to de-rank and if u didnt want to lose then to just simply quit. they would almost every time and we would see how many headshot kills we could get using a plasma pistol and BR.....ahh those were the days

  • Me and my friends favorite game series is Halo, so we play that a lot. We have a lot of good times but some of my favorite ones is when we play Cops and Robbers on Halo: Reach. We'd play on someone's awesome map they made and we'd chase each other around either in mongooses or warthogs and laughing the entire time because someone would barely fall off the edge and die. Then we would go play Slayer on a map that I made. We each made a base and loaded them with weapons, vehicles, armor abilities, and awesome designs. Sometimes we play Team Slayer, sometimes we'd go lone wolf style and play free for all, and sometimes we would just mess around. Of course, I had the best base. A lot of times we would spawn only at one base so someone would stand at the spawn point, spawn killing, will someone sniped. It was quite comical (for the killing anyway). My favorite times playing video games were in Halo.

I remember being young, my father and his friends all had Xbox's and Halo 2. We all went to one house and system linked in up. We played Halo for the entire day. I remember dominating with the tank in Head Long, getting the sword in Zanzibar and Midship, blasting friends with the Banshee in Blood Gulch (Coagulation), and how can you forget Battle/Beaver Creek, with it's Camo and Rockets. I may not have been the best, or even good, but those were some of the best memories I have.

  • I remember when I was still quite young actually.....every year we went up to my cousins and the days were generally dull. but there was always one time when I could go into my cousins room and sit and play with him on Halo CE. At first I just watched as he blasted Covvie blood all over the place and then began to play with him. We played, we laughed, we died, we cried, we shouted and we screamed but man Those moments we spent playing halo will stay with me as I get older. With my cousin now living abroad I gotta have something to remember him by, right? :D

  • One night, me and some friends were playing infection on Sandtrap. During the match, I and two friends were the last humans. We grabbed a Warthog we found and began driving around the perimeter of the map. The zombies picked off my two friends, leaving me alone. Strangely, my friends couldn't kill me, causing everyone in the lobby to get exponentially angry. As I listened to my friends curse at me in frustration, I laughed and laughed, to the point that I could barely see the screen through my tears, until I was kicked out.

  • I built an entire map in halo 3 to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend. After our date, we went home and played, and the map was a labyrinth that led to a floating temple with hearts. There was a point she could activate a trigger that caused bright explosions around the labrynth which turned out to be arranged in her name. We still fill each other with lead and love on the map years later.

  • Halo Reach, Invasion on Spire was what I did with an enormous chunk of my free time. On one such occasion I encountered a competent and cooperative ally with whom I quickly bonded and we proceeded to slaughter our enemies. We were elites and we were being driven back by the Spartans who only needed to capture our core and get it to their Pelican to win the game. Their biggest advantage was a fully loaded Falcon with one pilot and two gunners. On one of its passes it came a little too close to the spire and my new ally and I jet-packed out and simultaneously took the pilot's seat and one of the guns. My ally then positioned the Spartan who remained in the falcon hovering over the edge of the map looking out over the horizon so he had no choice other than suicide. Meanwhile I razed our enemies and claimed victory in the name of the High Prophets.
