Good sir I applaud you. This is a wonderful idea that should most definitely be included in the final product. I think it would be cool to have a memorial park, sort of a place for the guardians to remember their fallen comrades, and have a statue commemorating him an his work at bungie.

He didn't work at Bungie. He was, however, a standout voice in contemporary Science and Literary Fiction, his work being a huge influence on many. If you haven't read Banks I suggest that you seek out his work. You won't be disappointed.
