What PS4 fanboys fail to understand is that the Xbox One reveal was a console reveal, not a games reveal. The games it revealed showed what the console was capable of, but this is one way Microsoft is selling it as an entertainment system, not just a gamingsystem. Microsoft is now in a position where it can steal the show at E3 this year. Sony have revealed a lot of their new games. Microsoft haven't. They're biding their time. E3 is just around the corner, and they'll reveal tonnes of games and new material, and most of it will be brand new (unlike Sony, who've fired all their ammo already). Sony made a very clever marketing move. It's placed itself in a very good position. The whole "reveal" of the PS4 was a joke. "Hey, we're revealing our new console! We're not actually revealing our new console!". This card was dealt because they knew Microsoft would (actually) reveal their console soon and it would double time it because of the PS4 reveal. But do you see the trick? Occam's razor says that the reason they didn't reveal the console is because they simply hadn't finished it yet, so they jumped the gun, causing Microsoft to speedily reveal their console. Sony can now make last minute adjustments to their new console and they can still say that they revealed it first. They bet that Microsoft would do better than Sony by actually revealing the console, but it's all a gamble that's paid off. The trick fails the closer you get to E3. Sony had no console to show off. How to fill the time? Games. And lots of them. So what's left for E3, the number one destination for new games reveals? Very little, if anything. Microsoft has played it safe by waiting until E3. It'll have loads of fresh material and completely steal the show. tl;dr: Both companies have planned ahead of eachother, and have put themselves in good positions. This will be a very interesting E3.

 •
Sony have revealed a lot of their new games
I suggest re-watching Sony's reveal. There was not a massive reveal of 'new' games, it was more about showing that developers were on their side and that their box was the 'proper' games console of the next gen. Sony will purposely show more Core games than MS at E3, mark my words, write them down, save them, stain them into something, do what you want to them; this will happen. Get back to me in 3 weeks so I can gloat.
