Bungie Community,
Well look at that. We’ve upgraded your clubhouse, yet again. Bungie.net is a constant subject of study, scrutiny, and debate. Every once in a while, we put the machine under the knife, and add some new bells and whistles.
Check out what we’ve wrought today. All in all, there are over 350 fixes, enhancements, tweaks, nudges, pokes, tightenings, loosenenings, and polishes. Can you spot them all? If not, here are the highlights that mean the most to you, the end-user.
The Destiny pages have been expanded to reflect everything you know about our brave new world (and a thing or two that you didn’t know).
There are new ways to filter and sort #Forum content. You have better controls to see what’s new and what’s popular within any given time frame.
Forum content looks a little different. Let the debate over the old font versus the new font begin!
The ‘Sneakernet’ functionality that enables you to use your Halo emblem as your Bungie.net avatar has been added and explained. Oh, and those Firefight emblems that Remorazz asked for once a week since the beta are back!
Those are the most impactful and obvious changes. We’ll leave the rest to your discovery. As always, let us know what you think. The #Support forum is a great place to talk about how the site works (or doesn’t). We know that we don’t have to welcome your feedback for you to give it, but it never hurts to remind you that we care. We care so much!
Have a look around. Enjoy your stay.
Love, Bungie.

I really like all the fixes and enhancements done to the mobile version of Bnet. It's much better now!
-
I think the website looks prettier now. However, I've noticed that I have to change the Comment Sort from Popular to Oldest First every time I log in; it won't stay. Just in case you didn't know already.
-
I like the new font. Seems as most of the folks around here do as well. I didn't notice a small problem with the login drop down. The font and the icons don't align. I don't know if that is an issue with my browser or if it is a problem with the site. Keep making it fancy!

THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM
-
I don't know what the problem is with the new font. I like it. The interface feels "tighter" on my phone too.
-
For those interested, I've listed what changes I've seen in the [url=http://www.bungie.net/en-us/Groups/Post?groupId=18405&id=60389059&path=1]Community FAQ[/url].

WOW! I LOVE IT! Good job, web team....
-
This is my first time visiting the site for a little while now and I can definitely spot the difference. This place is tasty. Nom. :-)

Retro stuff that should come back. Sticky's.(So ninjas,Deej ect post good stuff up and people know Rules ect.),Saved Threads and Avatar bar at some point. Other than that it looks and feels better now. B.Net feels sleek and stylish instead of a frame and some wheels. Good work and you can see the difference.

A favor to ask, would it be possible to get the images for the old forum banners for further use?
-
[i]'My body is ready...'[/i] I'm liking things a lot more now than when we first switched over to bungie.next It's still different, but it's starting to feel like home again :D Maybe my mind is just clouded with euphoria caused by Destiny.
-
Did we just get another one? The threads seem to be divided more clearly.
-
I was in the Destiny section on mobile and had some trouble scrolling. As for more mild concerns, replies have gotten a little brighter. No like from I.
-
STILL NO PICKLESSSSSSS (titlesssss)
-
Just me or did the community forum banner update?

Edited by Arbitor5: 5/10/2013 10:31:47 AMI LOVE the Like and Tweet buttons :)

There is a bug concerning the sign-in drop-down in Chrome; the icons are mixed and squished.

My body is ready...

Love the new font, DeeJ.

The new features and social network integrations are awesome! Finally, the majority of people here can agree that the web team made good improvements to everything. The font is pretty sexy and I'm liking the go dark feature (I don't know if that was added in this or the last update).
-
While I disapprove of updates on a Thursday (honestly, it's almost as if you [i]want[/i] to come in over the weekend to fix critical errors), the fact our pending member counts have all finally been reset more than makes up for that.
-
Yeah I'm not keen on the new font either, it looks sloppy in my opinion, especially with the size of everything else remaining the same.
-
Oh god, all the fonts are different sizes. I was like, 'Did I accidentally hit ctrl + scroll? D: '
-
Love the new font, seems easier on the eyes to read.

Noticed that the "quote" option appear to now NOT quote the original post. (All I get is a pair of empty quote tags) In the overall scheme, no biggie ... but many posts are too lazy to include the original context, which can lead to thread breakdown. Oh ... and it would be nice if the notifications did not group. Get multiple replies within a single thread and you only get the one notification (sure, tells you thet there was 5 replies, but only leads you to the last). One step forward ...

Edited by antony X1000: 5/10/2013 1:25:03 PMI'm really liking the new, slightly bigger font. Can we get pages back at some point though? Using "Oldest First" is still completely pointless on large threads.
