Do you add commas before or after a 'wow'?

For example: Wow, that thing is huge! It's as hard as a rock, wow! Is anyone an expert in English?

  • The only time you wouldn't use a comma to separate it is when you're using it as a verb or noun, like "HurtfulTurkey's insights always wow me", or "HurtfulTurkey's post was a wow".

"Wow" is an exclamation. It is correct to either use it in its own sentence, or separate the exclamation with a comma. "Wow! Look at the tits on that chick!" and "Wow, look at the tits on that chick!" are equally correct.
