I've been here awhile, not necessarily old skool, but getting there. Joined in the heat of the Halo 3 days after stats lurking during Halo 2. Stuck around for the cool people, awesome games, and wicked community. It's quite fun here.

Hey everyone, I'm SaturnDaJerk, but you can call me Ricky or Eight seeing as how I've changed my gamertag since I made this account. I'm not new to B.net, but I'm new to the new site layout, so if that counts... I've been playing a lot more PC games lately (Mount & Blade, League of Legends, TF2, etc) But I still love me some good old fashioned Grifball on xbox. I'm also procrastinating from the entire Mass Effect series. Whoops. For some of the newbies, don't be worried if people are talking about things you don't understand fully, like inb4dragons, blame stosh, or other popular references here. You'll learn about our ways eventually, so just enjoy your time here and verse yourself in the lingo and discussions of scholarly doctrine in the olden ways of... Yeah that's pushing it. 1 ReplyNice thread, SkilPhil. Hello there, internets. I'm Chorrizo (Alex) and I've been around since 09', but just started to become active around this time last year. I came for the stats around the time towards the end of Halo 3's golden age and stayed for the lame jokes (and the community). I didn't have online access to Halo 2 because we had dial-up AOL internet and even though I bought Halo 3 on the release date, I didn't get to play it for two years. Why? I didn't have an Xbox 360, I just loved Halo so much that I wanted to have it anyway. I've been around Halo games since Halo: CE and they have inspired me to break into the gaming industry and to fulfill my dream of making kick-ass games with Bungie. I don't give up easily. Aside from gaming, I love writing, I played football for 8 years, I like drawing cartoons, I'm a host at my job (I clean and seat customers), and I love posting here and being involved in the community's activities. I am also a part of the Welcoming Committee here on Bungie.net, so if you need help I'm your guy. Hope to see you around the forum.

Used to be a hard core PC gamer but once my gaming PC broke down a little while back I started drifting away from it. I have kind of an old PC now and I'm in between consoles, but I really wanted to jump into the Bungie community and get to know some of you guys, yall seem cool ;) I've played through all of the Halos but never REALLY got into online multiplayer until Reach (how is that POSSIBLE RIGHT?? Downfall of being mainly a PC gamer for so long...) but anyway, I'm planning on getting a next-gen whenever that may be and hopefully delving into Destiny headfirst on launch day, I can't wait to game with you guys :)

So if you see any of the old hands here mumbling to themselves about dragons or signing your posts, that is to be expected. [b]Secondly[/b], people here are pretty cool, but don't expect a warm welcome from everyone. A strange land once known as The Flood has warped the minds of many who wander these forums. [b]Thirdly[/b], if you are going to be posting regularly, here is some advice: 1. Grammar matters, some people will come down on your hard for slipping up. So it's good to proofread your posts. 2. Play nice, don't be a jerk. Pretty simple, if you're to rude the mods will smack you with their ban-hammers in very soft parts. The moderators are called Ninjas on here. 3. 1 ReplyJames here, was very active in '08 and '09, but I've been around since classic Bnet during Halo 2. Lovely to see the direction it's all going in, Bungie is awesome (as always). Haven't been playing a lot recently, but I've gone from Runescape to Halo 2 to 3, to WoW and more (those are just the ones that consumed me for years each). I'm super excited for Destiny!

Hellllooooo I'm Landon and I've been a great fan of bungie ever since I got my grubby little hands on Halo: CE. I am now the mature age of 17. I like forging a lot, probably since I enjoy architecture and the human brain, so those seem to go hand and hand with forging competitive maps. I am excited for what ever bungie will be throwing at us with Destiny! I've been an xbox boy since my favorite games were exclusive to it...
