An Open Mind and Constructive Criticism

I feel like I am ready several threads expressing a general discontent for the new forums. Most of it sounds like this: "This is too much like Twitter/Facebook", "Really Bungie? I thought you guys were original" and other mindless chatter. Please remember folks, this is a Beta, a public glance at their current status. Bungie has willingly opened this up so we can try it on and see how it fits, to see what we like and what we don't. They are quite aware that this will not meet everyone's standards, but it seems like they are also willing to make changes as the community sees fit. With that said, we have to do our part in giving constructive criticism. If I was half way done with]a painting and some random person came up and said, "Seriously? I saw something like that on the back of a cereal box; get a clue!", I probably wouldn't listen to anything else they had to say. But if they said, "I like what you have done so far, but you might want to alter this and that because it's a tad bland," it would be a different story. Bungie has always commissioned us with small duties to maintain the community and this is no different. Let your voice be heard, but make sure your voice is one they will want to listen to.
