Hey there, just to confirm, is this a 'not so fast...' ban? These are not given for network issues, and reports do nothing unless there's a valid issue being reported.
Bungie will only respond to the ticket if they intend to overturn the ban or require further information; if neither happens within about 4-6 weeks then it should be assumed that the ban is being upheld.
Bungie leave the tickets open, this is likely to capture repeat appeals which are not allowed - duplicate tickets are automatically discarded.
If it is indeed a 'no so fast...' ban, this is a permaban, it's technically marked down as 500 years because they have to specify an actual number.
The forum is unable to assist any furher than the above information.

Edited by ONI CYBER PUNK: 10/9/2025 6:09:27 AMIt is a not so fast ban but I don’t allow anyone on my account to nor do I get on anyone’s account it just caught me by surprise that I got banned for no reason all I did was log on and I was banned literally and I’ve never violated the code of conduct ever in the eight years that I’ve been playing this game
-
You can be banned for a few things An egregious player name. Cheating. Hacking. Playing with and benefiting from a cheater. Avoiding idle detection. Cheats/mods from other games detected while playing D2.
-
I don’t have any of that
-
I understand that but I’ve never done any of that.

Trials in 2021 is a good start

Artmoney? Cheatengine? Etc. Any application designed to read and modify the memory of other applications at runtime was detected targeting the Destiny 2 game client directly. It is our responsibility to understand what software is running on our devices and how it interacts with other applications.

Edited by ONI CYBER PUNK: 10/9/2025 8:07:39 PMI don’t know how to cheat on console like for real I have shown evidence of my setup. I have gone flawless many times with my own effort and skills and times I have had help of other players as well, when trials was a pain on certain weeks I still did everything to the best of my ability listen I work 16 hour days for the city when I choose to I’m not the sweaty try hard that gets on and trash talks other people okay I know that in my mind I didn’t do anything wrong think about why after 8 years of playing the game would I put my account in jeopardy like this.
-
So you thought it was perfectly normal to load into match after match over a several week period & play no opponent each match? Plus, with it happening over several weeks & with multiple other players each time, there is only 1 common factor in those sketchy matches. 🤦🤷
-
You seem to lack common sense I haven’t played in sketchy matches or tried to play no one if I lose a match I lose the match dude I don’t have time to be stressing over a match
-
Your game history says that’s another lie!
-
What makes you think it’s a lie
-
1. Your game history. 2. You’re banned.
-
Edited by ONI CYBER PUNK: 10/9/2025 8:53:07 PMI see nothing wrong with it all I see is played a lot of trials on certain season some season I didn’t life happens.
-
Then you’re either blind, naive, or lack basic common sense. I’ll let you decide which it is.
-
I’m neither but you feel some type of way because you want to prove a point
-
You definitely are at least 1 of the 3. Your choice as to which one(s). Now Ive gotta get back to gaming.
-
Well I’m not and standing my ground and you decided to post and comment no one told you to stop gaming for me.
-
You can stand your ground….doesn’t mean you are rightfully doing so.
-
To be fair you should have stopped playing 4 years ago. Your trials matches back in 2021 are suspect at best.
-
Why would I stop playing a game that I love playing and that invested into heavily it makes no sense
-
Because for some reason you thought you got away Scott free.
-
Listen I use to be better at the game okay my skills haven’t been the same okay around that time I had more time on my hands to play trials due life saving surgery all I did was play video games while I was out of work for months of recovery after that 5 years after that I went from working a day job to working a night shift job for better pay I work 8 to 16 hour days splitting 4 hours to come in early and 4 hours staying after my own shift I don’t have explain myself many people want to say that I’m lying but I have no reason to.
