Update: There's some skill gap in the kit. I'm still optimizing the tactics for endgame play... I'll probably do a dedicated post when I have it dialed. I did a bunch of story stuff, decided to chk Xur... Hunter first, Thresh Flash Counter... Warlock had the combo. Grabbed it, went into the GM solo with it... I messed up, I couldn't get it out of my head... how I was going to do Boss. I pushed too hard, wiped after I crushed the ghost in the 1st section... really dumb, I had that area basically done. I needed to figure out my cadences... I still do actually. So, I decided to join a lfg. Can I tell you? What a turnaround. We start, no mic... I'm tanking... one of the people splits wide as I expected both of them to do. A Nova Warp Warlock... I was the second Titan... the other TRIED to follow me, they couldn't. Soaking Rez's... we had 2 left after I nuked the Brig... IT'S SO EARLY. It didn't look good. The Titan leaves when we have 2 Rezs left. I thought the Nova Warp Warlock (host) would probably quit too. I pulled back a lot in my aggression... to be safe. We 2 manned it. 😇👍💠. I basically solo'd the fish barrel, I could be faster though. We were right at time finishing, a little over... I saved the run like 10 separate times, I just need to get those combat cadences dialed in. I found myself getting too locked into the barricade block dps loop. The barricade taunts the enemies to you, so you rally then block, spamming rally. Energy Transfer gives you unlimited barricades while you're blocking. And then Flash Counter triggers the lightning. And you're virtually invincible. However, I was playing scared... waiting for them to come to me, and the taunting proc isn't strong enough to wait. When I started mixing it up more with Le' Bow and the Stasis Rocket Sidearm it was much better. And it's paramount that I learn these cadences... because the lightning dps is going to go way down after Heresy. Controlled Demo or Prismatic might be the better subclasses after this season.... What was my prize for this mediocre feat? Appended, Feeding Frenzy or Reconstruction Destabilizing Rnds. 18 in the mag at base, what's that with Reconstruction? I also want to say... although I saved the run a bunch of times.. the Nova Warp Warlock pulled weight. I even msg'd them after thanking them for sticking with it. They took the initiative grabbing the first spear for 2nd phase, and that's tricky. I didn't play like a god, it wasn't a carry.
