I’m very excited, it’s the first football game of the season… except I’m in SoCal and it’s gonna be like 80 degrees, humid, and I’m gonna be in full marching band uniform. Also, Hey Baby is a pep tune where I just stand there and get abused by the snares since I play cymbals. It’s gonna be great though, playing pep tunes is super fun and I get to be away from my younger sisters for about 5 hours.
Update: Game went well, we won, my section leader passed out mid Thunderdrumz, but it was really fun. 7/10, would recommend. Just make sure you have enough water.

Nice! I play bass four, for our field show this year we are doing I want you back, Dancing Queen, and September, with stayin’ alive as our parade song.

So how did it go?

Awesome! Good luck! I've played before, so just remember to not let the nerves take hold.

I remember those days, sitting in the stands in full uniform. Damn, it sucked. I think the worst was when we'd have to stay in full uniform (minus the plume) at competitions and it would be raining, adding what felt like an additional 20 pounds to it. Handy to keep warm in the winter, though.

Cool. I was in pep band too in Orange County. Just did the pep rallies Friday afternoons because I was in the marching band and we did half-time shows at the games. One time we got invited to do a show at a Rams/Vikings game at the L.A. Coliseum. I played clarinet. Some of the best times of my life.
