I mapped it to a long press on the emote wheel. In the ability remapping section. It’s the same length as you need to hold crouch for a rift or barricade.
It’s not a huge issue there since you’re often just popping it from cover anyways.

I think I saw the long press meaning you still keep your emote but this means to activate transcendence you just need to hold it longer.

Yep. Bungie has it so that you can have 3 different interactions on the same button: - Short press (think like jump or crouch) - Double press (think hunter dodge) - Long Press (think warlock rift) So in this case I can still spam emotes and activate transcendence. If you want it faster, you can always just reverse them so the emote is on the long press. You can also do button combos (example: A and B on Xbox controller = finisher). I use this for finisher so I can have uncharged melee at stick press. :)
