It’s entirely random. They left lobby balancing on for one weekend and it was miserable. The lobby balancing has to be random

It isn’t random when it keeps giving me the worst players alive. All it has to do is put me on the other team because everytime the other team has people with brains.

I just looked you up on trials report. You are a very strong player. Top .5% elo this season. 57-14 this week. It really doesn’t seem like you are getting the worst players all the time. Or maybe you play in a team. Idk. But I do know that if Bungie actually had lobby balancing on, you WOULD get the worst players most games since you are likely the best player in the lobby most games. Again, idk if you played in a team or not, but 57-14 this week is pretty good and doesn’t suggest to me you are getting the worst players each game.

I almost never play trials because I’m NOT good at 3v3. I can have fun and get some kills in Iron Banner. IMO the Trials solo queue players who have never been flawless should play others who’ve never been flawless. (Might be a wait for a match) Those solo queue who HAVE been flawless in their destiny 2 career should play other players who’ve been flawless. I would try for flawless if I knew it was ‘possible’ Currently if I play trials, I don’t mic up and turn on some music to distract me from the frustration.

That is called the contender and practice pool which we currently have implemented. The only issue is at a certain skill rating or total match count you stop being in the practice pool regardless of whether you went flawless or not. If it were to function more like the flawless pool system which got removed due to being terrible then things would actually get worse for the mode.

Then people would just make new accounts and deliberately farm people that have never went flawless and reset because there’s some sad individuals out there.

Ya prob true lol
