I had an obsession with Phineas and Ferb, and remember vividly watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates as a little tike.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates is weird. The early episodes tried to be Dora the Explorer, but without the Spanish, but eventually they decided to actually try making a plot with the show and the episodes were alright, but now had these weird Dora the Explorer elements (like counting doubloons) awkwardly shoehorned in there. Honestly, though, Disney Junior had some pretty good shows. I actually quite enjoyed watching Doc McStuffins, Miles from Tomorrowland, and Sofia the First with my little brother before he grew out of them. The last one there I wound up watching the rest of the series on my own because it is legitimately great. I hate Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with a passion, though.

It was pretty engaging for young kids, it had an excellent soundtrack (thank you They Might be Giants), and it was a lot better than stuff like Dora. You can't watch Goofy during the Hot Dog outro sequence and legitimately he's not the greatest fictional character of all time.
