*Spoilers in post The witch queen expansion had an excellent story, but when light fall dropped. It was made pretty clear you guys rushed to make light fall given all the reused assets and the abysmal campaign story. Like seriously, wtf is the veil? Why is the late commander and Ikora both say the traveler is gone when we can clearly see it from the helm? Now, finishing the recent seasonal story mission “Jailbreak,” the death flag was blatant so another emotionless story death. Let me guess, at some point in near future, Amanda returns as a guardian. All this begs the question in the title, “what happened to the writing team who wrote the witch queen?” I love destiny, but the recent poor quality of the campaign, the season of defiance, not mentioning the RoN contest mode, and the broken Immortal SMG in Crucible all left me and many others with a bad taste in our mouth. Bungie, please prioritize quality and not just quantity.
