Are you ever going to respect players off-line privacy settings?
?
If a player sets their privacy to 'Appear Off-line' why would you give your game the ability to by-pass that players settings?
?
Been this way for a loooooong time.
Thank you

The amount of people here that dont understand the purpose of offline mode is disturbing.
-
Because hiding, instead of just saying I wanna play solo right now is coward -blam!- lol
-
Why not just tell people you don't want to play? Or don't even add them in the first place? This seems like such a pointless thing to complain about.
-
People that go off line regularly I just remove from my friends list. You act like it's a privilege to play with you or we some how bother you lol. You don't want to be bothered well then you'll have one less friend to bother you. ✌🏼 some people...🤷♂️

I went offline once... And when i came back my postmaster was full of blowouts
-
I think in your roster you can set your settings to do not disturb
-
Say that you’re a neckbeard without saying that you’re a neckbeard.
-
Unfortunately Bungie don’t respect your time or preferences.
-
I just don’t join people. Or say I can’t join at the moment I want to play alone😅😂.
-
Don’t join a clan you don’t want to play with. Problem solved.
-
F me some of the replies you are getting are dumb as hell. Seriously. To those d holes below, if you came here to say you don’t get it, shut your pie hole. You don’t have an opinion here.
-
Amen!!
-
Think its more of a crossplay issue. Sometimes i appear offline, and people i regularly play with on xb can't see me on d2. But a friend of mine on ps can still see I'm on.
-
And this is an issue how?
-
what kind of -blam!- are you? Just tell ppl you dont have time or want to play by yourself. Are you 8 years old? Just talk to ppl and stop hiding.
-
Privacy? Why'd you add people in the 1st place than?
-
I really never understood this. When I'm on and I feel like being solo, I simply just tell em. No1 gets mad/upset and then we link up later or another day. The fact that this feeling of "oh God they saw me online, what do I tell them" is abit childish or just worse than telling them you ain't feeling like linking up. I get it to a degree that you guys prefer to be invisible, but bungie already nerfed invis lol so even if they do somehow add that, they'll still somehow will see upu online
-
I never understood this thing that people get all butthurt over others knowing they're online. Who cares? What is the real reason you need to be unsocial? And, if that reason is valid enough, to you, there's a very easy solution to your issue. Either delete the people off your FL or just ignore them. You don't owe anyone in this game anything.
-
Pay your debts and come out of hiding.

Edited by DerpPerks: 2/2/2023 4:52:54 PMWho are you trying to dodge? 😂 Bro who cares just ignore invites. Be a man.
-
I really need you to know just one thing. "Offline" is a word. One word. All the way through.
-
The playstation setting is obviously not related to your bungie friends list for a reason. Most of us like the way it's set up. You can see who's in the game from the destiny app.
-
You'll always show up on the app in a clan
-
Completely unrelated but.... I was in a clan ages ago, we had a guy who was "offline" all the time. Normally when IB was out and Trials. Found out he had his account recovered because he would be stupid enough to brag about it when he was online again.
-
😂 wdym? If u appear offline, it appears offline in the game too. You can invite people that are offline anyway.
-
Oh games be telling on you now. That's why I have an Xbox and PC. None of my PSN friends, you know, the real ones, will ever catch me ducking them again. Still though, you gonna have that one friend that sees your season level go up by like 20 in a week and call you out like they stalking you or something.
