Just adding some advice for those interested:
[b]Warden[/b] :
Don't step on bomb A immediately when it comes up, clear the champs and as many ads as you can before you step on A
If youre running Striker to thrundercrash the boss, dont run inmost light. I know its the meta now but thundercrash doesnt do enough damage without Falling Star cuirass.
When you get to the boss room, unless you're a good team, kill the overload champ BEFORE you jump into the boss room.
[b]Scarlet keep[/b] :
The ads are spawned by boss damage, if you don't want to fight Arc knights, wizards, thrall all at the same time..just don't try to melt her until the final shield phase is over
[b]Glassway[/b] :
Same, as above; dont overdamage the small boss to avoid waves of champs at the same time.
[b]Corrupted[/b] :
Do not start the elevator immediately when you hop in. At least clear the ads and prep at least 2 relics.
Charge the relics by passing them to each other..those passed twice appear to last longer on the floor than those passed once.
[b]Birthplace[/b] :
Yes its a void burn..but don't run Taipan with clown cartridge, firing line. It won't help in the boss room since you can't one phase the boss, youre being swarmed with ads and other players are likely not near you for you to benefit from firing line anyway.
I suggest a simple rocket or grenade launcher with chain rxn or cluster bomb. Even a void LMG with dragon fly is better than Taipan.
When the ads are spawning in, drop a rocket on them before they spread out.

8 RepliesOn scarlet keep an Omni hunter can infinite invis you up the elevator. Just remember the other players become Visible two seconds before you do. Or you can watch videos on how to emote cheese it or watch eso video on where to stand to just kill two ads and the rest can’t hit you.

2 RepliesIf you are using a heavy on ads in birthplace you are doing it wrong, a contraverse warlock with a blinding nade launcher is the easiest way to deal with ads. And taipan is definitely the best option in birthplace.

Just use Cataclysm with fttc and bait and switch and it'll be at 25% by the time adds come and it shoots solar. Just drop well and finish shooting, boss dies in a few seconds. Probably the easiest boss fight in all GMs. You can also cap A whenever you want, timer stops when you're on it, so you can come and go to keep the timer moving or stopped. Clockwise from A always worked best for me.

Run lucent finisher. I ran Gms earlier with random lfgs who are finishing champs without it.

2 RepliesHUGE TIP. Anyone doing corrupted and wants to skip champions, do not go past the steps during the 2x boss ogre encounter. When fighting the taken ogre, if you do not go passed the steps, the 2x unstoppable do not spawn. Fire away at the taken ogre with linears and kill that one first.

3 RepliesIf you just want the clear for warden just run an Omni hunter, you can perma invis your whole team on each bomb. Stasis warlock with a bleakwatcher build is great for all GM's.

Another tip: If you’re running bubble titan and your teammates go down in the boss room in Scarlet Keep, [b]use your super to pick them up[/b]! It’s better than wiping, which we did.

My question is why would you run clown cartridge on taipan when triple tap exists.

Tbh half the time I never match my subclass to the burn, especially with the long tedious strikes with annoying boss phases I just stick to Omi and Invis for survivability combined with the invis Dodge. Weapons wise I match with shields though.

Then [b]everybody[/b] goes to right or left side and do it again. I had so many games were after taking the first plate, and before even taking care of the champ, some "bilbo" decided to go lone wolf, and just triggered the right/left witch to spawn. ================================== Also a good practice is to watch solo runs. I mean, I don't have the desire to ever do a solo GM, but the strats are still useful, and can be especially handy if you have clutch cos everyone is dead:) The channels that I like to watch is Esoterickk and Chablo 91. The first one is good if you already have some experience, and know what's going on, since there is no commentary just pure gameplay. The second one provides a very detailed commentary (spawns, strats, enemy behavior, weapon recomendations) while showcasing a full run.

Pro tip: Some bosses have immunity phases and when triggered, will spawn wave after wave of disposable minions. You must answer in kind.

Edited by cedar: 1/31/2023 6:14:08 AMgreat post! thank you i have a question about the corrupted gm. in the event that final boss drags squad into ascendent realm (ie: melt phase fail), has anyone been able to successfully defeat her on first phase via sneaking the ball in, charging it, etc. this season? i swear there is a new miss mechanic when trying to break shield. if anyone wants to test, don't defeat the knight next to her otherwise she teleports. i wonder if one has to jump over to her platform now and get up close and personal...

3 RepliesGM’s are honestly kind of a joke now Because of 3.0, the fact we’ve done them so many times, the resil buff, and now the light level changes But if anyone is having a rough time with the corrupted Or just wants an easier farm When you get to the first boss fight arena Clear all the ads Break her shield but do NOT damage her AT ALL. Clear all the ads that spawn. Charge another ball and run to the far side where the portal spawns Break her shield and melt her with everything you have, she will teleport to the opposite side, turn and open up on her again, with as much dps as you can. By not damaging at all the first time it extends the damage phase the second time. If done right You can melt her then and there. If not, because you’re already right at the portal when the ads swarm you just get teleported away to safety. Don’t use falling star or anything like that, stay in the safety of the portal. Use linears.

2 RepliesAlso a tip for Corrupted, since there's only champ in the real room during the ogre boss, it's advisable to kill the unstop and the hive ogre quickly so that when you teleport to the ascendant plane, you can stay there and deal with the champs and taken boss. Although note that when you kill the taken boss a bunch of shriekers open up so stick to the left stairs and hug the wall as you run to the portal.

1 ReplyOn the Scarlet Keep GM when you go up the Elevator, if you have an emote that makes you sit and lean back (like the one where you sit in a Couch and hold a Skull ) then equip it. What you do is back up against one of the 3 pillars, pop that emote and make sure your head is almost entirely inside the pillar (due to clipping). The ads won't shoot anyone if you do it right. The same thing (I saw it done with the Chair Pop emote which leans back) works (I havne't done it in a while, so it could be patched) in the WarSat GM if you do it against the crashed WarSat. The ads won't shoot you and you can just sit in the circle and run the timer out.
