Focusing costs
Omg, y’all gon make granny get PT tower job , mopping up puddles.
Granny already struggling with shards and cores and now , imo, it’s getting more expensive and time consuming.
Granny gotta downgrade the house and car to afford these prices.

8 RepliesFocusing costs will be fine. Playing the game normally and not dumping currency into garbage will get you plenty. The 7 engrams thing is also in place because of the fact it negates the need to actually be successful in said activities. You lose for a few hours and get the same rewards the people who won.

They introduce them in awful ways to waste everyone's time for a season or 2, and then they reduce the costs so they can consider that "content" for a season and people praise them for it. Remember how bad crafting was when it was introduced with WQ? After a season or 2 they started to get rid of materials and lower the costs. But for that first season we all suffered and wasted a ton of time. This is no different. They ALWAYS make things a long, horrible grind when they implement them. We will complain and the 2nd season of Lightfall they will nerf the costs. It's pathetic.

They have effectively turned engrams into a currency. It’s equal parts hilarious and sad. Bungie has always had a problem with moderation in Destiny. Really wish they’d just start out reasonable for once. If there’s enough backlash, they’ll reduce it. Which I hope there is, because there should be.

2 RepliesAs always, the economy is in a terrible state. Where they pull these numbers from, I can only imagine because they sure as hell don't make sense. I was doing some rough math when I first saw that post. I'm only missing a handful of armor pieces for trials, and want to get them. To earn JUST THE ENGRAMS is going to take over two resets worth of gaming. For 5 pieces of armor! That doesn't take into account the thousands of glimmer, and hundreds of shards... I have played all too much over the years and I'm flush with shards, but when prices are this bad I usually don't bother. They keep raising the prices to try and drain players like me, but all they do is make us clutch our pearls tighter, while people with less are the ones who actually spend and get screwed over and over. Good luck with your coffers.
