PvP is beyond repair
I'm not talking about the frustrating matchmaking, the lack of dedicated servers, the questionable ban mechanics, the lag, lack of balance, broken builds, paid carries, absurd game modes or the suspicious guys with 500+ flawlesses and 3+ kd that developers don't care to check. I'm talking about the general PvP mechanics. Current PvP has to be called mayhem. It is great to be God like with abilities and all the other stuff in PVE. But in PvP the countless exotics and abilities don't support the gunplay anymore - they are way too many and too powerful. Obviously there is no other solution to change that than to create Destiny 3 where the developers fix the mistakes. Will they do it?

This game is beyond repair. Why do we keep getting hope when nothing is done. The same issues remain, broken weapons stay broken. Ability spam is insane. Time to move on to a game worth your attention.

I agree with all your points buddy; the shift in gun play in this game has swung more to abilities etc like you state especially in the last year. It’s all space magic but a swing back in favour of gun play and not abilities would be a welcome change. I for one enjoyed the hand cannon meta many seasons ago.

3 RepliesEver considered that Destiny 2 isn't meant to be "balanced" like a Battlefield, a CoD or some other pvp multiplayer game? The Game LIVES from unbalanced gear and builds. Remember, Bungie said in the past they want "some nails sticking out on the board".

Qnah they already put all their money into another game ... Which I knowing bungies monetazation schemes will probably stay away from ... Probably gonna be a beta test for 7-8 years after release anyways ...

Short answer is, I don’t think they care enough. Personal answer, after playing as long as I have, I don’t trust them anymore. Even if they did make D3, it’ll be more of the same crap.

They had the opportunity to fix the mistakes of Destiny with Destiny 2. They actually made the game worse somehow. So no, making Destiny 3 is not a guarantee that the problems would be fixed.

If you all keep moaning about PvP who knows Bungie may remove it from the game forever and dedicate their time to PvE.
