And I'm sure we'll come up with a way to kill them that doesn't just devolve to us shooting them with regular bullets.

Yeah, I think Bungie is going to be very careful with the Witness' final battle. Perhaps we won't even be the one to kill the Witness. Maybe the Traveler/Light will kill it, or perhaps it will kill itself upon drinking the Light? Or leave reality entirely upon destroying the universe.
