Ok so can someone please tell me what's actually wrong with the map and why they don't like it?
I keep seeing people saying they hate it, but I've never seen anyone explain why.

The outside lane is great for snipers and scouts, and there’s a bit of a center lane too, but the rest of it is all right corners with no sight lines. There is no area for midrange gunfights. In fact, the interior sections of the map are just random b.s. piled on top of other random b.s. There is no clear flow. As a result it is not fun to play on.

Thanks for that~ I normally would find Midrange encounters when attacking or defending B flag while you play peekabo with the surrounding platforms or if you can push in about halfway through middle lane, which is accessible by running the tunnels and hopping up or flanking the swamp again through the tunnels while the enemy team is scoping the outside edge from A/C flag. But it's the least-used range of fight in this map. So I normally have a couple different weapon types on me to swap as needed.

That's not true. You have to flank and then jump in on those lanes from the sides. Very easy to ambush snipers even with primaries. -
Scout mains asked over and over for longer ranged maps. Bungie designs a long range map and everyone hates it. It’s part of the problem with the community. Look at the pushback on the Witherhoard nerf. There were multiple posts here, every week for a long time crying for a Witherhoard nerf and when it happens everyone acts surprised and angry. Bungie will never ever please the community regardless of what they do or don’t do.

People just wanted a Witherhoard nerf in PvP because of the Trials cap zone or Control. Bungie took it upon themselves to finally nerf it because of its add clear uptime. In PvE.

Edited by gabezilla101: 12/5/2022 8:31:40 PMYeah except Bungie was addressing both because of tick damage being part of several builds. My point is there are too many players on this board that don’t have the games best interest at heart. The PVP crying posts did have a part in the nerf happening.

Thing is, while Disjunction has the middle and swamp lanes, there's plenty of opportunity to flank or get closer through the Cliff-side paths along B flag and middle tunnels. I just rarely see people there between both SBMM and CBMM / Iron Banner. Everyone laser focuses the long zones.
