In the lore tab for Nezarec's Sin, he is not only called the "darkest hour" but also the "purest light". Mithrax turned the dark powers of Nezarec into a cup of coffee, but not his light. It's possible that Nezarec will return as a powerful wielder of the light that specializes in void abilities.

I refuse to speculate on the ways he could leave Osiris' body now that he drank him up... it's naassty.
-
When Osiris hits the bathroom then the sh*t gets real.

Suspect Nezarec is actually one of those light disrupting wisp creatures the drifter described. However he is able to hold a physical form by possessing other creatures bodies. This would explain why he has multiple tombs and has died multiple times. It's not actually him but his chosen physical vessel who died. Additionally this would explain why mithrax looks like he is struggling when researching the relics and why mithrax decided to distill Nezarecs essence and then give it to Osiris. Also note that in the cut scene the liquid vaporizes and fills Osiris body. Think about it, these 2 could easily bring down the traveler and city in preparation for the Witnesss arrival. Mithrax using his splicer gauntlet could take down all the differences while Osiris could perform a ritual to corrupt the traveler with darkness, which would prevent it from running.

You completely misinterpreted that whole thing By purest light they don't mean literally pure light, what it's meant to say is that he is divine in evil, think of say a being that emanates the purest cleansing light that reduces anything to nothing, void light, not like our void light derived from the Void by use of the Light to channel it.. but pure nothingness (for example the dark sun near Rhulks homeworld that shines the opposite of light)

Is all warlocks, so definitely...
-
Weird... his glaive is arc.

True, Osiris could take a whizz and Nezarec could be reborn from the latrine.
-
Personally expecting osiris to get possessed again for drinking nezquick
-
They can do whatever they want, at this point it is all nonsense without any rules
-
If we have to collect him from Osiris' toilet, I'm done!
-
He's not coming back. There will probably be repercussions for Osiris drinking liquid darkness (which I'm still not sure why that helped anything) but I'm betting whatever interaction Nez would have in the story is well and done with.
-
They really should have hinted something at the end of cutscene instead of leaving it how they did. Would have saved them tons of backlash.
-
You mean after Osiris pees him out? :)
-
Please be a nechromorph chest popping scene 💀🤘👀
-
I would also think, there has to be some kind of side effect from drinking all of that dark power.
-
Yeah, he gotta pee sometime right?
