The fungus part of the theory makes some sense to me. The witness kinda create the fungus in my belief. Still studying that tho.

yeah i believe it is likely the progenitor of egregore, like the spores are it’s eyes and ears across the system. maybe it’s only called the witness because it witnesses everything through egregore? i still hold on to the idea it witnessed something terrible and wants to forget
